"Oh, Jeed, I haven't talked to you in a while."

Jade laughed as her mom answered the phone. "We talked last night, ma." Her heart was beating a mile a minute and she hoped that it didn't show in her voice.

"I know," her mom laughed. "it just felt long. Well, what's up, love?"

She took a while to even think about speaking because she didn't think of what she would actually say to her mom. 'Hey I'm pretty sure I'm gay and totally into my band mate who kissed me please help me' doesn't seem like a good way to state it. She can tell her mom was patiently waiting but getting worried on the other side so she took a deep breath.

"Mom, I've come to this epiphany." She let out another deep breath since she felt like she couldn't breathe thinking of telling her mom something that shouldn't be this hard. "I think I'm gay.."

It was quiet for a while, Jade's mom breathing quietly on the other line for a few seconds. "Okay," she replied back. "Why do you think that?"

She felt like she was going to throw up at this point. Nonetheless, she told her mom every single thing that has happened between her and Perrie. From the time Zayn had left Perrie to the time they kissed and to the time they talked about it a few minutes ago. Her mom thankfully didn't interject throughout her long speech of how she feels about every event and didn't seem too upset about the whole situation.

"Well, sweetheart, it definitely seems like you love her," her mom finally said after she was finished speaking. "and it honestly seems like Perrie might love you too. I don't think she would've kissed you if she wasn't at least a little bit into girls. Sure, she misses love but you're a girl. Straight girls don't kiss girls unless they're assholes who do it for attention."

"Mom, oh my god." Jade laughed a little, shaking her head.

"It's the truth! I'm straight and I've never kissed a girl because my best girl friend is around me twenty-four-seven after my breakup with my boyfriend that I'm sad about. That just doesn't work out that way, sweetie. I'm pretty sure something's going on in that brain of hers and that your name is going through her mind like a runaway trolly."

She felt like her mom was right, but at the same time nothing was making sense. If Perrie loves her, why would she be with Zayn? And why would she be missing Zayn? "Yeah, but, she still loved Zayn. She loved him enough to be in a weeks depression because he broke off their two year engagement."

"She can love Zayn but also know that she loves you. Maybe deep down she's always felt something toward you and Zayn was just an obstacle that she had to hurdle over until she finally got back to you," her mom said, the sound of her voice was indicating that she was smiling. Maybe she's always known that Jade and Perrie were meant to happen and this call was just something that amused her.

"Wow, mom, you sound like a best-selling novel writer," Jade laughed. She let out a little sigh. "But, thank you. I guess that all makes sense. We'll see how things turn out."

"I hope things turn out well. You two have always shown a spark that was bright to everyone."

The next day was a day in a studio. They were still in Los Angeles somewhere and they needed to already begin writing on their next album after Get Weird. Their schedules were pretty tight and very tiring, but Jade didn't like to complain much.

She got to the studio and made sure that no paparazzi and fans were able to see her since this meeting wasn't supposed to be published about. She got inside from the back door and was taken into the area that the other girls were at. Perrie was sitting beside Leigh, the two of them laughing over something, when Jade got inside of the room. Her blue eyes looked up and the smile that was on her face altered very slightly. It was obvious that the two of them now had tension and only Leigh was the other one that knew why.
