CHAPTER SEVENTEEN - Darling.

C H A P T E R 17

I don't really know what just happened. I never imagined something like that...I just came back from a beautiful day with Leo, and suddenly BAM, I learn that my lonely roommate is actually a stalker who loves gays. Yeah, that's very weird. At least I know that I have one more person by my side...

I don't remember falling asleep. I only remember Leo telling me Octavian's fanfiction with his soft voice...I don't even know what it was about. I did hear the weird part where I was a king though. If I really was a king, Leo wouldn't be my servant. He would be my queen. Queen Leo Valdez; it sounds good.

I turn around and I smile at the sight of Leo, who is still sleeping next to me. I wonder if Octavian’s cameras are in the room…He must be fangirling right now, seeing us sleep in the same bed. I sigh loudly. He didn’t come back last night. Not that I care, but I don’t want him to feel bad. We all have our obsessions; I just think it’s weird that his are about my relationship.

Leo suddenly opens his eyes. He smiles at me. “Good morning, darling.”

“I told you not to call me that. It makes us look like an old couple,” I protest.

The brown-haired boy laughs lightly. “Do you prefer dear? Or maybe honey?”

I stick out my tongue. “Shh. If you call me that, I’ll call you my servant.”

“Okay, Master.” Leo gets up and walks towards the bathroom. “I am going to take a shower. See you later at school!”

He closes the door. I look at the ceiling. I almost forgot about school…I wish it was over, but sadly, it isn’t. I don’t want to talk to anybody except Leo and maybe Hazel; she is nice.

I think about my friends and wonder where Jason is. Maybe he was sleeping at Piper’s last night, because he wasn’t with us. Sometimes, I think Jason is too perfect. He has a beautiful girlfriend, he is good at sports and he as amazing grades. He is also very popular…I guess some people just have it all. But hey, I have a wonderful boyfriend now!

I put my schoolbag on my shoulder and leave the room. I am in geography, and I hate it. In fact, I hate every school subject in general, maybe except science, because you get to cut frogs and hearts. Okay, that sounded weird.

The day went very well. I ate with my new friends; Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, Frank and Piper. Leo and Jason were there, too. I really feel accepted and that is great. I have never been happier in my life. In my previous school, I only had one friend…and he died. I have to stop thinking about it. I thought I was over him…

After school, Leo and I walked in the streets. We didn’t really talk, we just enjoyed being together. We are still walking and I think he wants to say something. He is hesitating.

“Nico…do you, hum…do you want the others to know that we are a couple?” He asks.

I don’t know what to answer, because honestly, I am not sure. “I don’t know, but maybe soon. I don’t want to lose my new friends…”

Leo smiles kindly at me and takes my hand in his. “Don’t worry about that, darli...uh, I mean Nico. They are really open-minded. They already know that I am bisexual and they are okay with it.”

“I just need some time to be more confident. I am not very comfortable with it myself,” I admit, looking at my feet.

The Latino looks at me and kisses me softly. I smile. Why didn’t I meet him sooner?

Suddenly, I hear someone screaming. Not a scream of pain, but a scream of pure joy.

“OH MY GOD THAT IS SOOOO CUTE!”

Yes, that is obviously Octavian. I think he was spying us from afar and he couldn’t repress his fangirl scream. Leo laughs loudly but I am a little offended. He was spying on us! What if I said something embarrassing? He needs to stop that.

I don’t know why, but Leo is definitely planning something with Octavian. He always laughs when he is around. I have no idea what they are up too, but it is not good. Leo and Octavian, planning something together? It will surely be really embarrassing and awkward. I’m not quite sure I want to know. I have the feeling that it is going to be about me, though…

Leo grabs my hand and we start running.

“Run, Nico, run! I don’t want you to be eaten alive by a dangerous fangirl!”

After two minutes of running, we finally arrive at our room.

“Leo…you do know that that ‘dangerous fangirl’ is our roommate, right?”

“Oh, I forgot this detail,” he says, grinning.

The door opens with a loud ‘BOOM!’ and Octavian walks in. He is smiling like a crazy person. “Hey, guys…I saw that you slept in the same bed last night! You are ready to go further in your relationship. I bought you all the necessary. Don’t forget to protect yourselves!”

Leo bursts out laughing and I stand here, my eyes wide open. I am too young for this!

 “Oh, Octavian, please. We won’t make your fanfiction come true,” Leo declares, still laughing a little.

“Leo! Why?! Stop ruining my dreams!” He yells in return. After saying that, he just runs out like he did yesterday. I think I should call the police. Octavian is really turning crazy!

A few hours later, I am in my pyjama. Leo and I were watching an anime — it is a Japanese show — called Attack on Titan. It is amazing! I want Levi and Eren to be together.

I get up and walk towards my bed.

Leo closes the computer. “It’s time to sleep, darling.” He insists on the last word just to annoy me. It doesn’t work. I act like I didn’t hear it.

“Good night…” I am interrupted my Leo’s mouth on mine. I don’t know where that came from, but I kiss him back and slide my hand in his hair. It is so soft and curly. I smile while kissing him and he pushes me on the bed.

“Quiero follarte con fuerza contra una pared,” he whispers in Spanish.

“What did you say?” I ask, looking at him in the eyes.

“I really love you, but it’s time to go to bed now,” he answers, kissing me on the forehead.

I wink. “I had Spanish lessons, Leo.”

He blushes slightly and we go to bed. I fell asleep the way you fall in love: slowly, then all at once.

Sorry for the late update, but school is almost over so this summer I will update way more often! Yayyy!

Also, sorry for all the fluff, but the story plot will become more entertaining soon, I promise.
