Season 5 Episode 18
"The travellers are here," Willow informed Matt, Tyler and Jeremy. "And our goal is to get rid of them, but before I put my faith in the three stooges, I need to make sure that none of you are harbouring a passenger." She held up the traveller knife.
"So you want us to stab ourselves?" Matt asked.
"This knife is the only thing that will get rid of them," she explained.
"Again, you want us to stab ourselves?" Matt asked as Willow's phone began to ring. Enzo.
"Give me a minute," she said, stepping away as the boys talked amongst themselves. "What?" she said into the phone.
"Good morning to you too!" Enzo said in that annoying way of his. "We need a witch."
"This witch is a little busy trying to sort out the traveller problem. Ask someone else."
"Fine... if you don't want to help your boyfriend," he said.
"Stefan isn't my-"
"But you knew who I meant, didn't you?" he asked. She could tell he was smirking.
"What's wrong with Stefan?"
"Oh nothing. Except, oh yeah, him and his ex-girlfriend Elena keep having sex dreams about each other."
"They're not sex dreams!" I heard Caroline say. There was a scuffle where she presumably grabbed the phone.
"With Tom Avery dead, Stefan and Elena are the last two remaining doppelgangers. The universe is kind of... pushing them together."
"Well, that's just... great," Willow said, making no secret of how much she hated it.
"It doesn't mean anything," Caroline said quickly. "They can't help it."
"Why would I care whether it meant anything or not?"
"OK, you're fooling no one with that attitude," Caroline said. "And neither is Stefan when he does the same thing."
"The timing was never right Caroline. I know you wanted us to... but we missed our shot."
"When is the timing ever right?" Caroline asked.
Willow sighed. "Just let me deal with the guys and I'll be right there."
She walked back into the room. "Matt, I have to be somewhere. Stab yourself or I'll do it for you. And I won't be kind about it, I'll do it somewhere that makes you bleed to death."
Tyler and Jeremy looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"What? I'm a witch, he has the Gilbert ring. He'll come back!"
Matt took the knife and stabbed himself in the shoulder.
"Right," she held the knife out to Tyler. "Next."

"Cut!" Paul called, coming over. This episode was his directorial debut, but everyone felt like he'd been doing it for forever. "That's a wrap on this episode," he said with a smile, putting a reassuring arm around Cece.
"You did a great job Paul," Zach Roerig, who plays Matt, said.
"Thanks," Paul said, beaming. "You're all coming to the bachelor party, right?"
"Hell yeah," Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy, said.
"Great!" Paul said.
"The next time we're on set, we'll be married!" Cece said excitedly with a grin.
"I know. I can't wait," Paul said, smiling back at her.
