"Being called weird is like being called Limited Edition. It means you're sonething people don't see that often." -Unknown
Dear Diary,
It's been a few weeks since my return to Hogwarts and I must say I feel a lot more at peace over here. The only family around me is Damian, who I can tolerate with, Chase returned to Romania, not after paying a quick visit to the Weasleys, and I haven't been getting any letters from home so that's nice. I've returned to my studies and I'm more relaxed that way, though I have to say that strange things have been taking place around me...
-Flashback-
"Mom was so scared after Black broke into the castle that when I went home for Christmas she almost didn't let me come back here. But luckily dad convienced her Dumbledore could keep us safe." I tried to block out Penelope's voice as I was trying to read a book. But her, Cho and Maxime have been talking non-stop since they walked in here.
It's such a nice day, why don't they go out to Hogsmeade or something? Extroverts love that kind of stuff. If they continue like that I'm going to leave the room.
"I can't believe they haven't cought him yet. What with all these Dementors going about the area and all." Cho chimed into the conversation.
"I mean, he is the first person to break out of Azkaban. A man like that is hard to catch." Maxime said then.
I couldn't concentrate anymore on reading so I got up with my book and made my way towards the door, I could feel the girls looking at me but I didn't mind them.
"What's with her? She could at least talk to us out of politeness." I heard Penelope's voice saying as I stepped outside, the door almost closed.
"She's just... different." Cho replied then.
I rolled my eyes as I went to leave, only to stop by hearing Maxime's voice.
"She's really nice if you get to know her. She's just a private person is all." She tried to defend me. Maxime was the only one I cared what said about me because she is the only one I consider close to a friend from my roommates.
"If you want my opinion, she's weird." Penelope said then and I rolled my eyes with a light glare.
I walked down the stairs and outside the Ravenclaw Common Room. A lot more stairs waited me there. After I made my way downstairs, I walked outside and sat under a tree, the light snow on the grass not affecting my body warmth too much.
I opened my book but I didn't really pay attention to it.
Weird. The word echoed in my head.
She's so hopeless. If talking about others behind their back is all she can do, then what life is she living that it's worth living for? Too bad for her I like being called weird. Weird is only another word for unique. But people use the word for a bad meaning and that's stupid. I'm not weird in that way.
"I'm not weird." I mumbled under my breath, glaring lightly at the pages of the book.
"Of course you're not, everyone just talks to themselves." I looked up upon recognising the voice to find a smirking Draco.
"Hello Draco." I rolled my eyes at him as I looked back at my book, turning a page to give the impression I was reading.
Why would I do that? What do I care if he thinks I'm troubled or not?
"Fancy seeing you outside. You do know we have no classes today, don't you?" he said in a teasing tone and his annoying smirk as he sat down next to me.
