I see you searching for my face in the room when It is just too quiet.
I see you searching for my eyes when the room becomes violent.I see you searching for any sign of me, any sign at all,
there is silence in the corner, and no laughter in the hall.I hear you calling, shouting my name,
shouting in confusion with a hint of guilt, there is no one here to blame.I hear you screaming because I am not there,
I can hear every word you say,
I hear you every night when you pray.
I can hear you tapping on the desk
or answering the phone.I hear the door open and close
I hear your crying before bed and I hear you getting up unable to rest.By the door I stand,
right next to you and I take your hand.
realizing everything is different, with me no longer present.Ive taken everything away from the only person I could have loved.
I see you moving from the clouds above.
