Requests for the Sequel (CLOSED)

Hello, Readers ~

We're close to the end of the first volume (I originally called it a series, but I later saw the term to be confusing. Therefore, Hetalia: The Fifty Stars/States is the fanfiction series while this book is its first volume. Hopefully that clears some things up)! Once again, thank you to those for reading, voting, and commenting over the chapters.

As most of you know, I've dedicated my time to writing the stories of my States of America OCs, so sequels were always on my mind. The second volume is partially in the planning phase with some chapters beginning in the works. Once I finish the first volume, I'll be taking a break from Wattpad. I'll writing rough drafts of the chapters in the second volume in addition being busy with my personal life. If you want to be updated on the release of the second volume, follow me on Wattpad for updates on the work's progress. I'll also post a part in the first volume updating the sequel's release, so be sure to keep this book in your library when it updates.

As stated in the title of this part, now is the best time to take on requests. Spoilers, Side Chapter 10 will cover a breakdown on topics each state chapter will cover in the sequel. For example, New York's chapter in the second volume, according to a request, will be about Hamilton, both the historical figure and the musical (it's going to be a long one; that's for sure). I do check the comments for requests and suggestions on future chapters, so this part is a reminder to anyone wanting to see what sort of topic I should cover for a State OC, at least in the sequel.

And yes, I'm aware the chapters for Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington D.C. in this series haven't been released yet as of the publishing of this part. After the release of Washington D.C.'s chapter, I'll give everyone some time to re-read chapters and figure out any sort of suggestion they want to see be depicted in the next volume. Once I finalize requests, I'll release Side Chapter 10 and the Epilogue, thus ending the first volume.

There is no limit to the number of requests per State. For example, anyone can suggest two topics for South Carolina and another two for Utah. Just know I'll only choose one topic for one state per person. I won't take every suggestion from the same person as I want to keep things fair for everyone else. I'll be sure to credit your suggestion in both Side Chapter 10 and the State chapter in the second volume.

Before ending this part, I have one last thing to discuss regarding sequels. As most of you know, not only do I write state chapters, but I also write side chapters. Such chapters usually cover topics in relation to States of America OCs or Hetalia OCs in general. Originally I thought readers wouldn't be interested in the side chapters considering they deviate from state chapters. As such, the first couple of side chapters were updated alongside the next state chapter so as to not disappoint readers who aren't interested in reading in them.

However, I was proven wrong. Some side chapters turned out to be some of the most read parts of the overall book. Already Side Chapter 8, a recent chapter, has over a hundred reads. It may not sound like a lot, but in comparison to the rest of the side chapters and state chapters overall, it's pretty outstanding in my opinion. Without a doubt, I'll continue making side chapters on topics related to Hetalia OCs in this series's sequels. Having decided to include at least ten per volume, I need to start figuring out topics I could write about.

As I was figuring out topics I could write about as side chapters, I started to realize how much time I've put into these side chapters. For example, Side Chapter 8, as mentioned earlier, is not only one of the most researched topics I've ever done, but it's also one of my largest with over 10,000 words in length. Like, that's insane! Knowing this, I didn't want to wear myself out researching and typing a week's worth of work to get a single side chapter out, especially with other chapters I needed to get done.

After going through possible topics, I decided to start something different from the second volume and onward. Some of the longest side chapters involve categories and lists of sorts. Rather than have a single chapter have, say 10,000 words worth of content, I'll divided the single humongous chapter into five parts. By dividing these lists into parts, I hope to ease the workload I have to do. Plus, it'll prevent me from running out of ideas for side chapters and help make updates more consistent. If such divided parts are short in length, I may update the next state chapter after it's finished. Hopefully everyone doesn't mind this plan.

Prior, I ask you, the readers, to pick a topic I could write on for Side Chapter 8. Once again, I'm going to ask you to vote on a topic I would write about for the second volume's "mini-series" of themed chapters. Below are some themed topics I could cover as a mini-series:

1. Each States' dislikes

2. Each States' full-length Marukaite Chikyuu

3. Explanations on each States' human name

4. Nyotalia versions of the States

I encourage anybody planning on continuing to read this fanfiction's sequels to please comment on this chapter on which numbers/topics you wish to see be covered in half its side chapters. In case of ties, I suggest commenting at least three numbers you wish to see in order from the one you like the most and its runner-ups after it. The one most voted upon will be featured in the second volume. Again, thank you to those for not only reading, but also voting and commenting as well, especially for this section.

To those who are wondering what'll happen to the other half of the side chapters, I'll continue writing independent topics that aren't in the form of lists. For example, I could dive more into the U.S. territories like Puerto Rico. Or, I could do one over their perceptions of other nations. Another possibility I thought on doing involve Q&A's with the States although I'll need a lot of comments in order for such a side chapter to exist, not to mention be planned ahead in order to give people enough time to comment their questions. On a side note, I plan to put these independent side chapters in-between the mini-series; for example covering even-numbered side chapters in case anyone gets bored seeing the same side chapter.

Overall, thank for reading this long note. This part will be deleted upon the release of Side Chapter 10 where requests on state chapters are recorded and set for the second volume alongside chosen mini-series picked by y'all. There should be plenty of time for everyone to see and comment on this part, so express your voice on the matter as soon as possible. Once again, thank you for reading this fanfiction.
