After about an hour of driving around, we finally find a quaint little Chinese place that's open. The car ride was silent for the most part, but it didn't feel uncomfortable. I love Evie cause we don't have to be talking or even paying attention to each other to be enjoying ourselves. After all, I am still thinking about her. How could I not?

We immediately get seated since its so early and we order shortly after. We talk and talk about everything under the sun, as we have the past week. Afterwards, we go back to a relatively clean flat, but ignore the mess I made earlier. Mum can deal with it. She deserves it. Evie and I spend the rest of the day in our room goofing off like until there's an unexpected knock on the door.

"Who's there?" I call out.

The door opens and the last person I want to see emerges from the hallway.

"What do you want?" Louis says, tensing up.

"We're having Christmas dinner as a family in about 20 minutes." She turns to look at Evalynn, "You're welcome too, dear," she adds, a fake smile emerging on her face. Evie and I both roll our eyes as my mother turns and leaves the room.

"We don't have to go, you know," I tell her reassuringly.

"Its fine," she says, "I can deal with her. I want you to be able to spend Christmas with your family."

I smile. "You're really all I need though."

She kisses my cheek. "Come on, get up cutie. I don't know about you but I need to get ready for dinner." She gets up, walks towards her suitcase, and picks out an outfit that beautifully accents her curves. She then moves to the vanity to do her hair and makeup.

"Seriously Lou, you gotta get ready!" she says, turning back towards me. I can't help but get distracted admiring every bit of her from her hair to her skirt.

I get up slowly and grab the white sweater at the top of my case. Luckily, it matches the white skirt she's wearing perfectly. I love having a girlfriend I can color coordinate my outfits with. Most people think its dumb, but I love it.

She turns around and walks towards me, wrapping her arms around my waist. "You look cute," she says, looking up into my eyes and smiling.

"Nothing compares to you," I reply. She blushes and I give her a quick kiss on the nose.

"Ready?" I say.

She lets out a deep breath and looks back up at me, "As ready as I'll ever be."
