Chapter 8

(Shane's POV)

Next Morning

So me and Ella mated. I wake up in her bed and notice shes not there. I don't hear the shower running either. I check my phone and theres no notification.

Then El walks in the room with a tray of yummy breakfast.

"so i see you met the pack chief" i laugh.

"eat up cause you and i are going long boarding on the board walk" she says shoving a piece of pancake in my mouth.

"your amazing" i say with a mouth full.

"for bringing you food" she laughs, her laugh is so cute.

"that, and last night" i finish eating.

El looks away with a sigh.

"whats wrong?" i asked reaching for her hand.

"nothing" she wines!

"Ellaina tell me now" i commanded!

"babe i'm fine" she pulls her hand away.

"did i do something" i assumed.

"kinda, i don't know, it was are first time, so i don't know" she says quietly.

"damn it, i hurt you" i get mad at myself and slam my body onto the bed.

El comes up and cuddles into my arm.

"it's not your fault, i'm just sore" she says as she rubs her thumb on my muscles.

I finish eating and head over to my pack house to get ready. For some reason when i was walking, no one was outside.

It's 85• and no one is out.
As i make my into my house, it's empty.
Where the hell is my pack? my inner wolf growls.

AGHHHH i hear a scream, it was my precious little mate El.

I bolt out the door slamming it. I rush up the stairs into Els room, i hear the shower running.

"El" i slam open the door!

I see her naked in the shower crawled in a ball with blood dripping from her leg.

"what the fuck happened" i turned the water off and grabbed 2 towels.

I rap one around her as she shivers in shock. I apply pressure to the deep gushing cut.

"El, what happened" i swaddle her into my arms.

"he came- out of no where" she catches her breath.

"who" i tense up.

"Rob, he took out his claws and..." she says grabbing toward her right leg.

She starts to cry.

"Where did he leave?" i asked.

"window" she cries!

I rush out of the bathroom and shut the window.

I carry El to her bed with towels wrapped around her leg.

"You need to see the doctor babe" i say.

"not naked" Ella say letting out a squeal.

I go over to her closet and dresser and pick out an outfit for her.

"ill help you" i offer

Ella shakes her head no and she wiggles her clothes on.

Finally my phone goes off.

Fight now, Meka pack <dad

i can't El's hurt!!! <me

ill send Kayla back < dad

"There's a fight right now, with the Meka's, Kayla's coming to help you, i love you" i rush out the door kissing her on the forehead.

(Ella's POV)

Am pissed that i can't go kick some ass, but I'm scared for Shane, i don't see how i could live with out my mate.

"Elllllaaaa" i hear Kayla yell!!!

She tracked my scent up to my room, with a first aid kit.

"oh my gosh" Kayla lets out looking at the cut.

"is it really that bad?" i question.

"your not healing, why aren't you healing" Kayla gets concern, cleaning the open bloody skin.

Usually a wolf well heel its self in a snap, But i wasn't, it was cut to deep.

"El it's not deep at all" Kayla says as she gets a better look.

"Shane" i whine.

"Kayla go help Shane now, he's hurt or in trouble, i can feel him thats why im not healing" i demand her.

"NO Shane said no matter what, keep her safe" she growls.

"to keep me safe, Shane needs to be safe" i sweat.

"GO" i yell as she runs out!

(Shane's POV)

I black out as i was fighting Rob, his damn pack can't stay on his side! And knowing that he was in one of the houses, AND TOUCHED MY MATE i was more than pissed.

I feel a girl pull me to the side, i got a better look and saw Kayla.

"why are you here" i wake up!

"she won't heal cause your hurt" she explains.

As the Hale pack and mine the Grayson pack finish off the Meka, me and Kayla went to Ella.

We sprint as fast as we could. I run into her room and she my baby laying on the bed with a big smile on her face to see me.

Kayla goes and helps the nanny center with the little woflies.

Ella moves over with her arms opened, and moans for me to join her!

As she heals, we head the packs head home.

"should we go..." i cut El off by kissing her soft lips that fit mine.

"But...." i silent her but placing my index finger on her lips "shhhhh".

Ella her head into my chest, has her arms around my torso and legs on top off mine.

"your kinda on top off me" i whisper as i move her silky strawberry scented brown hair out of my face.

"i know" she laughs.

"you can stop flexing" she adds as she doses off the sleep from being tired from the wound.

I was pretty tired myself.
