Chap55|Moving on

Three days later..

Me and Ro been out all day. I've mainly been trying to keep her calm and her mind off of Camila. So we been out and about, you know hanging out with a couple of friends.

Camila by the way still hasn't made her way home yet. It been almost a damn week and now she hasn't been answering my calls.

After she told me that she would be back home for a break next week. Royalty and I went to the airport thinking that we were about to pick her up and she never showed. But instead she decided to wait until that night to text and tell me that she was gonna be late. And hell late turned into not coming at all I guess.

Ro was not happy about it at all she talk my head off about Camila all damn day. I had already told her that Camila was coming home and everything. So when she didn't show, it really hurt my baby.

"Come on Ro let's go home." I said grabbing her hand.

"Otay mwomma."

"Y/N!" I turned around to see someone I wasn't exactly expecting to see.

"Lauren?" I asked

She smiled at me and nodded. "Yeah its me, how've you been?"

I looked at her trying to figure out if it was really her. I couldn't believe she was standing here in front of me.

"Uh I been alright, you?"

"I've been ok. just working you know." I nodded and watched as her eyes went down to Royalty.

"Aww hi baby, did you miss auntie lo." Royalty stared at her with a blank face. It's not like she didn't know who she was or anything, it's just she hadn't seen her in so long. That's just how Royalty is.

Lauren pouted at her and poked her side. "Wow ok missy I see how it is."

"Chill Lauren, you know you haven't been around."

"Yeah I know but maybe that'll change."

I raised my eyebrow up at her. What in the hell she mean it's gonna change.

"Well hopefully I'm still allowed to come to my niece's birthday party right?" She asked looking up at me.

I shrugged as I rubbed my face. "I don't think it's really a good idea for you to come Lauren."

She crossed her arms and huffed. "Why not Y/N! I've always been there for her on her birthday, and now all of a sudden that Camila's here and pretending to be apart of your life again, you don't need me anymore!"

I stared down at her trying to figure out why she was still tripping off the same shit that happened months ago.

I shook my head and smiled trying to stop myself from laughing in her face.

"Lauren in case you forgot you put your hands on Camila. Which I tried forgiving you for until you came to my house wanting to lead Camila into thinking that we had, had sex. That's why your not invited."

I was speaking as calmly as I could. I was in a public place and I had my daughter with me so I wasn't about to step out of character.

She looked at me sideways. "So. That means I can't be there for my niece?"

"That's exactly what that means." I nodded and lifted Royalty up on my hip. "Now if you'll excuse me, we have somewhere to be."

"Awuntie lo." Ro said pointing her finger as we got in the car. I looked back at her and she smiled at me.
