Abandon.

The hazy afternoon sunlight wove through the lacy white clouds, and the sounds of carriage wheels clopping along the mud coated ground whirled all around London.

I strolled throughout the busy, bustling town, delighting in the attractions that I laid my eyes on. All the shops, and businesses were open to the public, and so many people were swarming in between the nooks of the city.

Fretting not about the small droplets of condensation that trickled down to my chin I marveled at all of the alluring, captivating sights from underneath my black umbrella that shielded me from the direct sun rays.

I felt weaker in the daylight due to the sunshine, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from enjoying the clamorous charm of London in the daytime.

Children chased each other down the thin alleys, prying their parents towards the adorable all set up windows of the toy stores, and the fresh aroma of just baked pastries swept within the quaint hamlets.

Nudging shoulders with a couple of noble townsfolk I meandered down the muddy lane, the soles of my boots getting caked with brown sludge.

Waltzing past a little girl all dressed in vibrant pinks, and greens I heard her sniffle quietly to herself, a torn teddy bear in her tiny, little hands.

Pausing dead in my tracks I bent down so that I was at her eye level, and smiled warmly at her.

"Is your bear hurt?" I adhered, but then I saw her plump red cheeks become more drenched with her tears as she gazed upon my fangs.

"Don't cry, please. I'm not evil. I just want to help you." I divulged, taking the ripped little stuffed animal out of her clutches.

"Y-You're scary!" She shrieked, immediately running away from me despite how kind I thought I had seemed.

With a small sigh I stood back up, and went out of the main part of the crowded streets back behind some alley where there was less sunlight.

Crouching down with my knees firmly pressed against my chest I sat with my closed umbrella at my side, the hood of my cape draped over the top of my head.

Grabbing some fawn brown thread, and a needle I began to repair the split open teddy bear. Pushing its white stuffing back into its stomach before threading the sharp needle through the divided snagging area.

Though, interrupting me in my work I heard a mans muffled voice say something to me, causing me to avert my attention away from the bear.

"Hey, woman are you a slave?" A noble gentleman decked out in the finest wool's, and furs questioned, a hint of a snide look to him.

"No, I'm not." I responded, grasping hold of the edge of my velvet capes hood, pulling the fabric further forward, covering up more of my face.

Though my small action seemed to have angered the man, and before I knew it I felt him clasp his golden ring accented hand around my jawline, forcing me to gaze up at him.

"Well, you're quite the dandy. I bet I could sell you for a lot of pounds, or perhaps... I could keep you all to myself." He spoke with a sly gaze filled with nothing, but greed, and lust.

But, before I could defend myself, and get away from the sleaze I noticed a black cloud appear, the dark wavy strings wrapping tightly around the mans arms, and legs. Then his torso, and neck. Strangling him as Sebastian appeared, sauntering over to the trapped noble male with a deadly look set across his gleaming magenta hues.

"Don't touch her, foolish human." Sebastian threatened before gripping his black claws around the mans neck, piercing through his trachea, killing him instantly.
