Dear Diary,Life is short. It's hard to process that when we are suffering, believing that we had lived on earth for a long time and we are waiting for God to have mercy on us and end our life. When life-ending events take place, it hits us hard as we realise that we don't want to die, we want to be live. We don't want death but we want happiness and sometimes people believe that death is their happiness.
For me, my whole life I wanted God to finally notice the suffering I endured and put an end to my miserable life so I can finally see the light, the light that could make me smile, a real smile. When I had a run in with Julian, all I wanted was for God to show me a way out, a way out so I can live because I don't want to know what happens after death.
Having Julian ready to kill me had made me realise that my life isnt as bad as others, I have things that other people don't have so I should be grateful but my short-lived sorrow had clouded my vision. For me, it felt like a lifetime but for others, it was more than just a few years it had been their whole life.
I felt familiarity when I looked into those coal black globes, I've felt like I've seen them before. He had been my saviour, he had saved me when I myself was ready to give up and give in to Julian's wish - a wish that would have led to my expiration date.
I'm glad I made it out alive - but would Julian really give up after one failed attempt?
Love Sera.

Seraphina slipped away unnoticed, staying still when she heard footsteps, scared out of her mind that Julian was lurking around to catch her off guard leading to her tragic demise. She had been as quick as lightning leaving no rooms for breaks or pauses as her life was on the line, a lie she so badly wanted to save.
She banged the ancient door shut, echoes rippling through her apartment the wall shaking slightly, she walked around the room unsure of how to react to her near-death experience.
Her shoulders shook slightly she can feel the tears welling up in her eyes scared for her own life. Her pacing increased, she tried to calm down but it was hard and soon she was hyperventilating, she tumbled her way to the medicine cabinet and her hands pushed through the medicines skipping the antibiotics and reached for her life support. She swallowed down two blue pills, the pill left a trail of tingles as it went down her food pipe.
A few minutes later, she had done some breathing exercise and the pills finally kicked in and her anxiety had slowly dissipated and Seraphina felt drunk, she felt like she was stumbling through life without realising whats happening, long forgotten the Julian incident and she staggered to her soft clouds and laid down, dozing off.

Kayden had sat next to Seraphina the next day, Blossom finally gave up using Kayden to get Kaiser and decided the only way she could get his attention was to show him that she had a crush on someone else, she was sure that he would be fueled by jealousy but Seraphina knew that nothing can knock down Kaiser Harrington except his final grades.
Kayden drummed his fingers along the tale, he was shaking lightly unsure of how to break the news and Seraphina could tell that it was bad, so bad that mighty Kayden was trembling to the core.
"What is it Kayden. Spill!" Seraphina jutted out her lips in determination. He fumbled with his fingers once again, afraid of Blossom's reaction.
"I... uh...you see...I can't" he finally resolved.
"Kay, come on I'm your best friend tell me, it cant be that bad," Seraphina reached out to grab Kayden's hand and a sheet of peace was placed on him. With Seraphina, you could fee lat peace without so much as words and Kayden was glad that he had a friend like her, she was more like a sister and he didn't know what to do - Kayden wanted to tell her but wasn't sure why he did that and wasn't really expecting to reak the news to Blossom - who would definitely overreact.
"Okay! Calm down, you know Kaiser..." He started but was cut off by none other than Seraphina.
"I know Kaiser, Kay, do you think I live under a rock plus we all had gone to school together and we go to the same university too," Seraphina retorted, and Kayden smiled slightly at how she could ease any world-threatening problem he had to nothing but a mere hitch on the road.
"Before I was distracted," Kayden raised his eyebrows at Seraphina and she gave him a cheeky smile, "Kaiser has a girlfriend - her name is Marlena." He finished rapidly, making sure no one heard but Seraphina.
Her face went blank before she smiled, "I was convinced he batted for the other team," She teased Kayden - her smile showing nothing but pure happiness.
He was confused himself, why would Kaiser do this. He knew that he was not in love with whatever her name is. Kayden had confronted him when they were sixteen about who he liked and Kaiser hadn't said anything but a year later he wanted to tell him the truth.
"Kayden, its hard for me to tell you this but I need to get it off my chest," Kaiser had told him one night while they had been out for a family dinner and only came home around midnight.
"Hmmm, what is it?" Kayden was ready to make a mad dash towards his wonderful looking comfy bed, the sleepiness shone through his voice.
"I like someone and you know this person" He had replied after a few moments of hesitation.
"Who?" Kayden demanded the sleepiness had slowly worn off as he was getting excited to finally find out who it was. He was sure it was Blossom.
"She's smart, funny, always kind and sassy when she needs to be, her hair looks so lusci..." Kaiser rambled off, his mind wandering to his mystery girl.
Kayden was anxious, his heart was beating fast, "Kaiser, come on, get to the point!" Kayden rumbled, ready to bite off Kaiser's head for making him wait longer.
"It's Seraphina, " The last word was a mere whisper but Kayden heard it loud and clear.
"SERAPHINA!" Kayden screamed, the tiredness fully gone from hearing the truth at last.
"No way! You always ignore her and she seemed to take it to heart because she wanted to be friends but you literally never look her way twice," Kayden spoke getting agitated by the minute, ready for Kaiser to show his signature smirk and tell him it's a prank.
"I've liked her since we've met Kayden but she didn't seem interested, she always talked about other things that weren't about me. So I knew not to confess that I like her because she would probably laugh and break my heart. " Kayen couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"You're not lying," Kayden noted; he could see the truth in Kaiser's hazel eyes.
Kayden snapped back to reality when Seraphina dropped a massive atomic bomb on him, "How are you going to tell Blossom?"
---
When Kayden had told Seraphina about Kaiser's new girlfriend she expected her heart to lurch out, her throat to clog up and for her to choke on the sorrow she should have felt but she felt nothing but emptiness and she wasn't sure what had happened that had made her go from being madly in love with Kaiser to being genuinely happy that he got a girlfriend.
