The Reason Why I Backed Off

Scared yet!

(A/N: I'm so super duper sorry for not uploading this story lately! I just had to help my gram's I'm like a personal nurse for her. The things I do for a loved one. =] Okay, Back to the story)

I screamed at what I seen in Ginger's bath tub, I seen her and she was wet in her own blood. Haley screamed with me and I don't know why I was yelling up I just was

"OH MY GAWD, GINGER....NO NO NO STAY WITH US. HALEY CALL THE DAMN COPS!!!"

I was just freaking out, I blank out with my actions. I got in the tub with Ginger, I turned off the water that hit my back as I tried to cover her. Ginger was a mess, I went to her neck to check if there was a pulse which was barely there. I was crying, I can tell. I looked at Ginger to see that, she had her mouth being sew in...Cuts that's so deep that you can see her muscles. She had her eye closed and I barely noticed that Haley screamed. She pointed something close to the tub, I looked and my eyes widen at what I seen...Human body parts...a tongue...an eye ball and fingers. I looked at Ginger, just blank. Like every emotion running thru me. I was terrified for sure, worried, and...scared. I got up and said to Haley

"What if the person is still here?"

Haley don't make any noises, she instantly started crying. I laid Ginger back in the tub and ran to the door to slam it just for someone to pound at the door. I screamed and ran to Haley, I covered her mouth because, she was moments from screaming bloodily murder. I picked up my weapon and got in front of her. I'll be damned if I'm letting my friend dead from my hands. Whoever the person...murder is is practically breaking the door. I couldn't help but to filch in fear everytime that the door started to crack. I swear each time that they banged on the door. My legs began to shake more painfully. I was scared...

Soon the door busted opened and Haley screamed and I barely realized I screamed too...It was Ginger parents. Her dad said to me while, breathing heavy

"What is going on here, gir-"

He looked at the tub to see Ginger, he started panicked. Her mom walked in, she instantly seen Ginger and screamed loudly than any of us. That night it was just a blur.

Things has changed was it for the better or for the worst of things

 Me and Haley was still in shock...We were taken to the police station to explain what happened. I was holding her hand while telling her. My voice was the same anymore from all the screaming that we were doing. I was stutter which couldn't have been helped. I mean who wouldn't...The office that I was in was dark painted walls that was grey, an oaked table desk and the chairs was fold up chairs. It was a just a small room in general there was just 2 windows and the floor was hard wood. I kept thinking I need to relax...I finally did.

I said to him while looking at him in the eyes

"Officer, me and my friend Haley was going over Ginger's to have a sleepover. I knocked on the door and when I knocked on it..It opened. I walked in with Haley to see that everything in the house was a complete mess. We started to freak out but, I wanted to know were Ginger was. We went in to the kitchen and got weapons. You like a pot and pans."

I looked at him to see him writing it all down in his notepad. He looked up at me and said with a small smile

"Continue."

I simply nodded my head and said

"We checked everywhere until, Haley noticed blood on the floor that lead upstairs. I was panicing in the inside...But, my curiousness got the best of me. We walked up the stairs, I heard water running and I lead the way. I embraced myself and opened the bathroom door because, it had the lights on. I looked around to see the shower curtain was pulled over. I walked over with Haley and I riped it opened and we both screamed when we seen Ginger in the tube. Bleeding and everything."

I had to stop for a second because, Haley started to crying hard. I got out of my chair and pulled her into a hug. She wrapped her arms tightly around me and I hugged her tightly back. It took her a moment to calm down but, I don't minded it at all. I wanted to be handle too. Soon, after she said the magic word

"I'm okay."

I let go of her and made sure first before sitting back in my seat. I grabbed her hand and continued to the tell what else happened.

"So, Ginger was in the tub and I just blinked out and just grabbed her thinking that she was alive after, I turned off the water. Then, Haley pointed out that there was things beside the tub...Missing body parts. I thought the guy was still in the house. I slammed the door and someone was banging on the door. We screamed and it slammed opened to be Ginger's parents and here we are."

I barely noticed that I had silent tears coming down my cheeks until, the officer handed me tissues. I mean this is to crazy for words...Who would even do that to Ginger...To a human being. I shook my head silently, he let me and Haley go but, we were under watch the whole time. I don't mind it at least someone is watching us and making me feel alittle safe. I sat down next to Haley, who was silent the whole time. I don't let go of her hand until, our parents came thru the doors. I got up and walked over to them, my mom has engulfed me into a hug. My dad had this look on his face, it was a grim face. His eyebrows furrow and  his lips was shaped into a frown. He said while my mom released me

"Honey,...Ginger, she's...died."

I think my heart skipped a beat.

Things appears but, not what they seem to be!
