Mulder and Scully arrived back at the hotel. Mulder immediately told Scully to get researching while he was going to plan for tonight.

Scully looked through the microscope to see what the blue fleck was and what she saw didn't add up, turns out the fleck turned out to be something close to a reptiles scale. How could a reptiles scale be blue? Unless it was from a chameleon then there was no other explanation.

"Mulder this scale," Scully began.

Mulder looked up at her with his nerdy glasses on.

"It looks like it from a reptile." She continued.

"Dragon?"

"Dragons don't exist Mulder." Scully sceptically said.

"Chameleon?"

"In this environment?" Scully questioned.

Mulder just shrugged, he took off his glasses and laid them on his plans. He then got up to find the remote.

"We are going on a stakeout." Mulder announced.

Just when he went to turn the TV, it was left on the news channel, and what was in the news certainly wasn't any good.

"Local towns people not only witnessed be if theses creatures but are saying there is another one." Said the newsman in the TV. "While the first one as small and blue this one appears to be bigger and red, but for now no one is to enter the lake. We'll keep you updated on more on the this soon but first-"

Mulder switched off the TV then threw the remote on the couch. Tonight's plan didn't look like it was going forward unless they was a way to get in.

"Scully we are still going, and the first sight of sundown." Mulder decided.

"But Mulder you saw the news what if this one is more quicker at paralysing its victims." Scully said.

"We need to find out what they are and why they are attacking." Mulder argued.

Scully kept quiet she knew there was no point arguing about an X-Files related case.
