That night,
21:00pm,
At the lake,

There was police tape, taping up the gate saying "Police do not cross", there was also another sign saying "All trespassers without permission will be prosecuted."

That's our cue Scully." Mulder whispered as he parked the car between the trees, near the gate so they didn't get caught. Mulder was the first to get out of the car, Scully soon followed she brought the little scale along to see if they could find anymore.

The sky was a dark colour, the moon was out with half of it showing hand if it hidden. The tall trees were colourless as well as the forestry ground below them, still that didn't stop the FBI agents walking round the lake in the forest. Hidden away from people as well as the monsters.

"No sign of them yet" Scully whispered.

"They'll come soon" Mulder replied.

The two agents must if walked at least half a mile before seeing nothing but trees and the reflection that the lake was giving. Until there were little shiny lights on the ground and trees, which had just happened to be the scales of the creature.

Suddenly there was the loud screeching of the blue monster as it lit itself up, to a more brighter blue. You would of had to cover you ears and shut your eyes in order to not be affected by the creature.

"Scully!" Mulder shouted.

"What?" She asked as her ears were covered.

The creature soon stopped and flew into the woods on the opposite side of the lake.

"It's here!" He shouted.

They took their hands away and walked up the the edge of the woods, to try and see the creature.

"Perhaps it's protecting something, because that sounded a lot like a warning call." The female agent suggested.

"Could be Scully could be." He agreed with her. "Then we should probably get more if theses scales and head back."

"Since when were you afraid of X-File cases?" Scully joked.

The two picked up as many scales as they could before the beast came back.
