It was late at night, Scully suggested that they should go back to the lake for more evidence and a clarification that it was the Flight-thing. Mulder was happy to go, but was a bit afraid. Of getting him or Scully in trouble. Mulder pulled the car up to the parking space, and turned off the engine. The two agents got out and decided to head to the same spot as last time.

"The scales were right here Scully, and now there not." Mulder pointed out.

"Do you think someone has took them?" Scully suggested.

Suddenly there was a rustling sound of nearby bushes. Scully reached for her gun.

"FBI!" She warned. "Come out!"

"Don't shoot!" Said an voice.

A figure soon came out of the bushes, why is was the scruffy hair lad from earlier on today.

"Jamie! What are you doing here?!" Mulder asked.

"To see this creature." He replied.

It was dangerous for Jamie to be out but he didn't mind, and with him being an expert on such a thing there was no stopping him. Scully put her gun back.

"Was it you taking the scales?" She asked.

Jamie pushed his glasses up his nose and nodded. "It should be any moment now that they'll come."

"Well we saw them on that side of the lake, so maybe we should head there." Mulder suggested.

Jamie walked on ahead to get around the lake, whilst Scully held Mulder back.

"Mulder do you think it's wise we let this kid come with us?" Scully whispered.

"Sure, he knows what he's doing." Mulder replied.

The two agents began to go around the lake to the other side. It was hard to see as it was so dark, they didn't plan using there torches in cases it provoked the creature. Although the little scales Jamie dropped made little specs of light. Ducking and stepping over the trees and branches, Mulder had been tripping up a few times. Then they had to stop, cause Jamie had done so.

"Look!" Jamie whispered.

The young boy pointed to something over in the distance. Just passed a few logs and stumps there was a blue wavy glowing stream of some sort. It was so bright that if you closed your eyes you could see if through your eye lids.

"Amazing!" Mulder whispered, with such amazement.

"What is it?" Scully asked Jamie.

"That must be the glowing algae, the stuff they live on." Jamie guessed. "Let's go and see it."

Mulder went with Jamie, Scukky hesitated but decided to go with them. Just going to close to the river, there was some sort of cool air coming from it.

"It's that stuff alright, driving this would make you glow. That why the Flightmare drinks it. It glows to scare it's victims before spraying it with this must. That paralysis you." Jamie explained.

"I knew it was a dragon, how else would you explain the scale." Mulder said.

Jamie nodded, the two males began to get super nerdy about the dragon, before Mulder brung up the word Extraterrestrials. Which made Scully check on the surroundings, having one hand on her gun. She was having the gut feeling of the creature being very close. Until something red was caught of the corner of her eye.

The red Flightmare was here, the larger magnificent ghost like creature was further up the river, sniffing the food before drinking from it. The blue one wasn't far, in fact it was right above the trees circling around looking for any potential threats towards its food source. Scully noticed it and went to warn the two.

"Mulder, we need to get out of here." She whispered.

"Why?!" Mulder asked.

"No time to explain." She replied.

The three of them got up, and was looked in the direction of the red one, which noticed them. It screeched its warning call and the blue came swooping down. Straight at the agents and the boy.

"Scatter! It'll confuse it!" Jamie shouted.

The blue Flightmare was coming in close, to close and its mouth began to form the mist it went for Mulder.

"Mulder! Drop!" Scully shouted.

Mulder did as he was told.

"Ahhh!" Mulder shouted.

The blue beast flew up onto the top of the trees, flapped his wings before flying away screeching its loudest.

"Mulder!" Scully called, running over to him. "You didn't get hit did you?"

"I'm not sure Scully, I can't feel my legs." Mulder replied.

"It's only temporary, he didn't get you that bad, but we should get cover until the effects where off." Jamie said.

Jamie got up to look for cover, whilst Scully tried to get Mulder up.

"That kid knows his stuff." He said grinning.

"Really Mulder you got of got seriously injured." Scully said with such concern.

"Here," Jamie pointed.

It wasn't much but it'll would have to make do. Just lots of loose fallen branches learnt against a tree branch, my a pyramid shape. The design of it was so basic some kids must of built it one day, but the den needed more cover. Like leaves so Jamie put them over the branches, before squeezing to get inside.

"That was close one." One of them said.

"But the real question is what with the creature, capture it? Or something else." One of the agents asked.

Yes, what to do with it...
