Jac plodded back into the living room, a grin plastered over her face. She felt happy, she hadn't felt this happy in months. A few minutes later Fletch re-entered the living room with two cups of tea, one in each hand. He too had a grin plastered over his face.

'Thanks.' Said Jac as she reaches out and took the tea. Fletch took a seat next to Jac, he sat close to her but not enough to be touching. Jac sipped her tea, waiting for Fletch to speak first.

'What is this Jac?' What's going on between us?' Jac knew he was referring to all the moments they had shared over the past couple of weeks, and the kiss they just shared.

For a minute Jac was left speechless, thinking about what was going on between them. She was unsure, she didn't want to hurt Fletch, but at the same time she really wanted him. She wanted Fletch in her life, she wanted Fletch's kids in her life, and she Emma to have other children in her life as it would be good for her.

'I don't know Fletch.' Jac said quietly after a couple of minutes. She didn't feel like she could look at Fletch, she stared down into her lap, hands playing with the handle of her cup. She was nervous because she didn't want to hurt him.

'Jac, I want this, I want us. I want you and Emma to be part of my life, I want you both to be part of my kids lives. I don't want you to push me away anymore, or feel as if you can't tell me things. I want you to open up to me, let me in Jac.' Fletch said truthfully.

Fletch had hardly finished his sentence when he felt Jac's tender lips against his own. Fletch shifted and slowly wrapped his arms around Jac's waist. Her fingers grazed his stubble as she pulled away. Jac kept her eyes closed as their foreheads pressed together, not wanting the moment to end. Everything felt right.

'I want this too Fletch.' Jac whispered, her lips brushing against his. Fletch smiled and kissed her again. As they parted for air, Fletch shifted so they could both lay down on the couch. Jac was tucked in between Fletch and the back of the couch, her head resting on his chest. Jac's breathing got heavier and soon she was fast asleep. Fletch felt happy, happier than he had been in a long time.
