"(F/n) what are you painting?" Your mother asked as she crouched down next to you.

"A tree." You spoke while pointing at the tree you were trying to draw while continuing painting the leaves of the tree in grey.

"Why are you painting the tree blue?" She asked with curiosity.

There it is, that word... Blue... One of the words that are called... colours.

"What do you mean mommy? I'm colouring it the same colour as the leaves." You said while dipping the paintbrush back into the grey paint.

"Honey the leaves are green." She pointed to another section of grey paint.

There it is, that word... Green... One of the words that are called... colours.

"This colour," You pointed to the supposed green section, "and this colour" you pointed to the supposed blue, "Are the same colour. They're all the same." You looked at her in confusion.

She looked at you with more confusion. "Honey, what is the colour of my hair?" She asked with concern. "The same as these colours." You pointed to the platter of grey paint you saw through your eyes.

From that point on your mother knew that she should take you to see a doctor.

"It seems as though your child is colourblind. They are not able to see any colour except shades, such as grey, black and white." The doctor with a white lab coat, grey skin and black hair stated. You looked at him, oblivious to what he was telling your mom.
