Bakugou X Chubby Insecure Reader

Every day you come home from school crying. Somedays you'd cry yourself to sleep. You hated that you cried a lot, you didn't want to cry anymore but the hate and the bullying would increase if you tried ignoring it or if you tried to become stronger. You would build up your defence walls ready to take on the demons but at the end of the war your walls are left torn down into nothing. You did have a strong quirk, you were able to manipulate water and turn it to ice.

You watched as your tears fell from your face and landed on your soft (F/c) bed sheets, how they would glisten in the moonlight flooding through your blinds. You walked towards the bathroom and looked at your body in the mirror.

This is the body that brought you all the hate and bullying.

This is the body that you hate and despise.

You never used to hate your body, you were always a chubby and happy kid and got along with everybody just nicely. But as you got older people didn't care much at all for personality or what's on the inside, all they cared about what they saw on the outside.

They liked the slim and fit people with an asshole personality, while they hated the chubby people with the kind personalities. Not saying that all fit people are assholes or all chubby people are kind. But you get what I mean.

Everyday Ms Keisha and her group of duplicates would come up to you and remind yourself of how you weren't "pretty" how you weren't "Skinny." They would make fun of your looks, hair, body and everything else they found flawed, as everybody else watched and laughed with them, tears slid down your face as your insecurities suffocated you.

Your only friend Izuku Midoriya was the only kind person In the school sadly, he was in another class os you couldn't see him as much as you would like. The only other person you were close to was Kacchan or Katsuki Bakugou, you remembered how you and Izuku played with him when you were younger.

But you two slowly drifted apart as you grew up. It hurt as you never had the chance to tell him your true feelings.

Afterschool was the worst. Ms Keisha and her minions would push you outside to the back of the school and videotape you. Sometimes they would through rocks at you, other times they would kick you and dump things on you.

Ms Keisha grabbed your arm roughly and threw you against the wall of the school. Her minions laughed as they called you names. You felt tears prick in the corner of your eyes as you told yourself not to cry. Not to be a baby and suck it up.

You closed your eyes waiting for the usual punch you would get from them... Nothing happened.

You opened your eyes to see Ms Keisha's arm grabbed by the one and only, Katsuki Bakugou. Fear arose in Ms Keisha's eyes as her and her minions scrambled away. Your eyes were met with the blazing crimson red ones of his.

He looked down at your trembling form as you looked down feeling pathetic.

"(N/n)." He called as he extended his hand to you, you looked up as your teary eyes widened, without hesitation you took his hand helping you get up to your feet and used yourself off.

He then shoved his hands in his pockets and looked away. "Don't let them do that to you. You are stronger than that, don't show them weakness and show them who's number one." He said while keeping a straight face not meeting your eyes. Right then and there he s badly wanted to hug you and confess his feelings, but his jealousy of Deku and his pride got in the way.

With that, he was off and walked out of the school. You stood there as his words sunk in you. A new surge of motivation and positivity surged through you. With a determined face, you pledged that you would show them no weakness and show them who's number one. With that an old dream of yours also resurfaced, a dream you once lost as you thought you weren't good enough.

After that day you ran home and confessed to your parents about everything that has been going on at school. They were surprised and shocked that you didn't tell them about what was happening, but nonetheless, they decided to homeschool you.

From homeschooling you were able to focus more on your studies and get your grades up, also it gave you more time to train your body and quirk. You didn't necessarily want to get skinny, you wanted to get healthy. See the difference, you were blinded by the fact that you thought being skinny was a perfect thing to be. But it isn't, being healthy is, it doesn't matter about your weight or size, what matters is if your happy and if you're healthy.

You switched out all the mochi and pocky from your diet to vegetables and proteins, with the help of your parents you made a training schedule, one that would be efficient and one that didn't make you overwork yourself.

Many people (only Izuku) asked where you were but you reassured him that you were okay.

It was finally the day of the U.A. Entrance exam and you were pumped and confident...

I also incorporated a bit of my own realization and that is it doesn't matter if your big or small, all that actually matters is that your happy and healthy. That's the only thing that should matter, and if you're not healthy try to make yourself healthy do it for yourself not because others are pressurizing you. If you do not feel comfortable in your own body then you can change it in your pace of how you want it, do not let others take control of that. It's the same thing if you like makeup and wear A lot because you like it then fuck it do it, don't listen to what others say.

Damn, I just wanted to vent that out. BE YOUUUUUU!!U!U! that's basically what I'm trying to say.
