The second I heard the gunshot, my head whipped around as I saw an incoming bullet headed my way. Thinking quickly, I ducked down, the weapon barely missing the top of my head by a few centimeters. As I stood back up, trying not to look too shaken up, I met Thor's gaze as he checked to see if I was okay.
"I'm good. I'm good." I reassured him, swinging my arm around to punch another man in the stomach as he fell to the ground behind me.
"Be safe, little one." Thor sighed, knocking three more HYDRA agents over with his hammer. "Fury would kill us if you got hurt."
"I appreciate the concern." I replied, pausing momentarily to kick an incoming enemy in the ribs all while taking ahold of another's arm and throwing him over my shoulder into the one that I had kicked. "But I can take care of myself. No need to worry."
Thor shook his head, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips.
"Bleu's a little warrior, Thor." Natasha called out as she came running up to tackle an agent that was sneaking up behind him. "She grew up alongside Fury. She can handle anything."
"At least someone has a little faith in me." I grinned, continuing to take out any HYDRA agent that stepped in my way.
"That's more than I can say." Loki cut in, suddenly appearing to my left as he knocked over an agent barreling her way towards me.
"Maybe if you were a bit nicer," I groaned, leaping on top of another agent and knocking him out with a knee to the head, "people would have more faith in you."
"I'm the god of mischief." Loki scoffed, his green eyes twinkling. "I'm not supposed to be nice."
"Well there lies your problem." I chuckled, slipping in front of him to take out an incoming HYDRA agent before he could even touch her.
"I could've gotten that."
"I know." I grinned, relishing in the annoyed look he gave me.
"Bleu, Agent Romanoff and I are going further up the block." Thor called out. "Do you and Loki think you can handle things here?"
"Of course I do." I replied. "As long as Loki doesn't slow me down."
"I wouldn't dream of it, princess." Loki narrowed his eyes at me.
"You know I hate that nickname." I growled. "You're such an ass, Loki."
"You won't be saying that if I ever have to save your ass."
"I won't have to say that, because I will never let myself be put in a position for you to save my ass."
