Chapter Three: My Lips Are Sealed
I was lost in my head until a certain thought came over me. Nick isn't going in disguise... I'm Nick's only friend...Fuck. Every single student in this school is going to look at me and wonder how the hell I got to become best friends with Nicholas Kipp. I started clenching my fists making my nails dig into my palms. I was really hoping for a attention free year. Looks like that's not going to happen.
A tap on my shoulder sent me reeling. I spun around to see who it was and I found myself looking into the eyes of my former best friend, Damian Archer. "Hey," He said, "You okay? You seem kinda nervous." Am I okay? No! I came here in a totally new identity hoping that I could get no attention from the fucking paparazzi, and you're asking if I'm okay? I didn't expect to see you here, look damn fine and sexy, and I wanted you to leave me alone! I wanted to scream at him. But, I didn't, instead I said, "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a little nervous as it's my first day and all." I said with shy smile. Man, all those years of acting in movies, commercials, and some TV shows really did help.
Damian smiled at me, "Well welcome to CCI! I'm Damian Archer"
I have him a million dollar smile, "I'm Kel-Autumn! Autumn, uh, McKyenna." Dammit! I shouldn't have screwed up like that.
"Cute" He replied with a little chuckle. Oh man, he is some eye candy. With that caramel coloured hair and those gorgeous emerald eyes. I wanted him. The sound of a motorcycle took me out of my thoughts. I looked away from Damian and saw Nick pulling into the parking lot beside my car.
"Gotta go," I said, "my friend's here." As I was walking away I noticed Tayla Woods walk up to Damian, probably in hopes of figuring out who I was. But I swear to god, I still felt his eyes on me as I walked to Nick.
Nick got off his bike and took his helmet off giving me his gorgeous lop-sided smile of his, I smiled back. "Hey Autumn, like the outfit. It reminds me of the outfits you'd wear to meet agents and people like that."
I laughed, "Ha-Ha" I said with dry sarcasm, "Aren't you in a bright mood."
"Well I am, you see, nobody's recognized me ye--"
His sentence was interrupted by Tayla. I narrowed my eyes at her and gave her my infamous death glare. She rocked back and forth on her heels twirling her hair with her finger trying to give off that 'cute' vibe. It just made her look like a blond bimbo. She giggled, "Are you by any chance Nicholas Kipp?"
Considering she stepped in front of me giving me her back, I looked over her shoulder and peered at Nick, shoot me now, I mouthed to him. He just chuckled and gave me the look that said 'keep your anger in check'. I then narrowed my eyes at him. "Why yes I am" Nick replied. I then picked Tayla up, put her to the side and set her down. She looked at me, shocked for sure, then gave me a death glare.
"Next time, don't interrupt us when we're speaking." I said to her. I soon noticed Damian coming towards us. I hooked my arm with Nick's and I lead him towards the school, "C'mon" I said, "Let's go get the paperwork sorted out. I want to sign up for some sports teams and stuff.". Nick just looked at me.
"You're a feisty little one, aren't you?" He said with a kiss on my head, "No wonder I love you." And somehow, Nick managed to get me out of my pissy mood and make me smile.

After signing up for just about everything, I looked at my schedule and smiled.
