Dear you,

School was a bore, like usual. You made it better, like usual. And our friends taunted me, like usual.

Routine, Birdie. Do you have a routine? Are you someone who becomes agitated when the routine is disrupted? Or, are you someone who wants change. That hates the constant repetition of tasks.

I'm both. I like change, but, I don't like very much change. Soon, the usual school days will make me adventurous and I'll strive to change it up a bit.

You, however, will always be something I couldn't get bored of. There are days where I need a rest from our friends, just to breath and be alone. With you, I couldn't fathom the thought of being alone, with you someplace else. It has me chewing my nails. And when my nails are nibbled away, I begin pulling my hair or tapping my foot. Consider me controlling, Birdie, I don't mind.

Birdie, you didn't talk to me today. It's driving me insane. I'm constantly fishing in my mind, struggling to hook the idea of what got you displeased with me. Nothing takes the bait.

Our friends told me to ask, but what if you aren't mad at me? What if you are fed up with me and not communicating with me is your style of saying back off? Is it? It can't be, I'd be forever shunned to the embarrassment of me ruining something that hardly even started.

Birdie, though we aren't speaking right now, I beg you to eat something. Surely, I can't be the only one to notice your slimming features and prominent cheekbones. Though, I notice everything about you...

Oh, Birdie, my BirdieWhere stories live. Discover now
