"What happened to us?"

I remember that night. It was cold and the sky was full of stars. At times like this, you'd wrap me in the warmth of your embrace, so I won't feel cold. We would look at the stars above, smiling at each other, talking about ramdom things. In your arms I feel safe and secured.

But that night, it was different.

We were staring at each other, searching for reasons to stay. I looked at you, hoping that I could still find the same loving eyes, but all I could see was pain and sadness.

"Please let me go," your eyes glistened with tears, begging me to set you free.

What happened to us? Why did we ended up this way? We used to be so happy, right? Why does it hurts so much hearing those words from you?

I wanted to ask you, why?

But I couldn't say anything. As much as I wanted you to stay, I know you won't. All I could do was to watch you walk away from me.

That night, it was cold. And it felt like I was lost again.

You were my home, but you left and now I'm homeless.
