The planet was behind them, and Dextra before them. The three sat in an uneasy silence. Error stared blankly at the moon, Queenson and Abe staring out the respective windows. This was the second time Queenson had been in space, and the second time he had gone for a visit to the moon. Somehow, he had more dread about this than he had Sinis.
"... this is gonna be a fun one, huh?"
"Indeed, it shall be quite the adventure." Abe replied. "Neither of us have any arms, the shuttle had none... I suppose we'd best treat this as a stealth mission where possible."
"Makes sense." he nodded. "Error, any hint for a blueprint or anything?"
"Error." she replied. "I do not seem able to connect to the network. Initiating emergency flight routine, destination Dextra."
"Alright, good choice." Queenson nodded. "Try and get us there fast."
"Expediting journey." The shuttle shuddered a little. Abe got up.
"I'm going to check the holds again. Maybe we could jury-rig some firepower."
"No breaking the ship while we're riding it. Deal?"
"I learnt my lesson from the last occasion." Abe waved dismissively, heading into the back. Queenson sat down again, looking back at their home planet. "Looks so small from up here..."
"The planet is-is-is looking rather healthy." Error commented. "The terraforming process is going rather smoothly."
"I ain't fond of the idea." he frowned.
"My apologies." Error commented, going quiet. Queenson's scowl persisted as he looked back. The dome they came from seemed so small, now, he could barely see the crystals that formed its structure. He thought about it, frowning as he stared.
"... Error, remind me how the city was formed?"
"The logs report that the developers of the city used sonic technology. Very high-frequency soundwaves were discovered to be able to mould it."
"So, what, was the frequency deleted after the city was built?"
"According to the logs, yes."
"... only according to the logs?"
"There have been rumours that the frequency was kept. The reason is unknown."
"... So Sentinel's holding the city hostage, down to the structures themselves." he growled.
"There is no evidence to support-"
"We'll assume he has it." he sighed. "We'll need to figure out how to stop him from using it."
"Stopping the signal would require a jammer. I could possibly arrange something, should we have communicators present aboard this shuttle."
"The shuttle has a broadcast system. We're going to take it apart."
"Did you not request for Abe to preserve the integrity of the ship?"
"Yeah, yeah, I get the irony." he frowned. "Just tell him already. I'm going to get to work." he sighed, going over to a toolkit and opening it up. Abe would be laughing at him for months after this.
