And now back to Leo's point of view. Fair warning, the next few chapters are going to be a tad bit sappy and sentimental, but after the hell Leo's been put through, he deserves a bit of a break.

A lot can happen in one year. A year later, I was still fighting crime as The Nightwatcher. My methods towards criminals weren't as brutal as the way I'd eradicated the Foot Clan, but enough for some criminals to back off. Maybe it felt a little good saving an innocent life. In this endless war on crime, every time I succeed in saving a life, I win a battle. There weren't that many major villains to fight. Well, there was one dimensional breach that brought out some crazy creep and his freakish minions. What else could I call them? They were dressed in these weird costumes I could only describe as a Robin costume, and they were cannibalistic and freaky as hell. And that scary looking clown? He called himself The Batman Who Laughs. I fought him and defeated him. But I'll admit, he was one of the few villains to ever terrify the hell out of me. That my friends, is a story for another time. But aside from The Batman Who Laughs, there weren't that many major villains.

I was on the rooftop with Spike. For once, it was a peaceful night. There was no crime in sight, and everything was calm. It's nights like these I often appreciate. With this type of peaceful silence, it can make one contemplate. What was I contemplating? I thought about my family. And I thought about Twilight. Had it really been two years since I lost her? I then gently pet Spike. My thoughts were then interrupted when I heard a voice say, "I was wondering if you were still up there." I turned around, and saw it was Sunset. I took off my helmet and smiled. She had a box of Antonio's Pizza. "Bought ya some pizza," she said. "Thanks," I said, taking off my right glove, and taking a slice. She brought my favorite. "So how are you and your girlfriend?" I asked. "Starlight and I are doing well," replied Sunset, "She's helping me get through the nightmares."

"That's good to know," I said, "you deserve to be with someone you love, and Starlight's the right girl for you." Sunset smiled and said, "Thanks Leo." Suddenly, a blue vortex came out of nowhere. Sunset, Spike, and I were awestruck, looking at the vortex. "What is that?" asked Sunset. "I don't know..." I said. "Leonardo..." a voice said. It sounded familiar, because, it was my own. Lo and behold, in front of the vortex was someone that looked exactly like me, that is, if I were a spirit... We looked at the spirit that looked like me. "What the shell?" I said, dumbfounded. "Hello there,"  the spirit calmly said. "Who, or in this case, what... are you?" I hesitantly asked, probably knowing the answer. The spirit then said, "I am you..."

"How is that possible?" asked Sunset. "I am from an alternate dimension," explained my spiritual doppelganger, "and in this dimension, I died."  That probably explained why Sunset, Spike, and I could see him as a spirit. "How did you die?" asked Sunset. "Baxter Stockman gave me a disease in my lungs," explained the other me, "giving me only a year to live. Hence why I'm here."

"Damn, that's harsh," said Sunset. "Well, my brothers did bring Stockman to justice, so you could say my death wasn't in vain,"  the ghost optimistically said. "My brothers are alive in your dimension?" I asked. "Yes, as is Splinter and Miwa," assured the other me. "And Twilight?" I asked, getting my hopes up. "Yes, Twilight lives in my dimension,"  replied my ghostly doppelganger, "She lost me when I died unfortunately. We were even going to start a family together. We have a four year old daughter named Sunset, named her after you Sunny, and a baby boy named Blake."  Sunset beamed, flattered that a little girl was named after her. "That is why I'm here,"  said the ghost, "Shinigami has cast a spell, opening a vortex to a dimension to find my doppelganger. I want to rest in peace, knowing that a suitable version of me is taking care of my Twilight and our children. Your brothers may need their leader, but Twilight needs you the most, Leo. Are you up to leaving this dimension to go where no man has gone before?"

I looked at Sunset and said, "Should I go?" Sunset didn't even hesitate. "Yes, you deserve to be with Twilight." I smiled, then looked at Spike, then asked my doppelganger, "Can I bring Spike with me? He's my best friend, and means a lot to me. You could say he's the Abu to my Aladdin." Spike wagged his tail. The other me laughed and said, "Of course. Spike can come too."  I looked at Sunset and hugged her. "Goodbye Sunset... Thank you for everything." Sunset hugged back. "Goodbye Leo..." she said. I put on my Nightwatcher helmet, picked up Spike, looked at the vortex and said, "Okay, I'm ready." My spiritual doppelganger nodded, and then Spike and I jumped into the vortex, the vortex closing behind me.

Twilight and Leo's children, Sunny and Blake, were not created by me. They were created by Funzoey123456.
