Beware the mistakes of evil's spawn

A heart of gold used as a pawn

Slithering serpents will be unleashed

To awaken the hungry mythical beast

An old prophecy of a ninja of green

And the secrets of a Seer that lie unseen

Answers to both will be realized

Revealing the snake in disguise

Sitting on my knees, rubbing my necklace with one hand, I look to Sensei. Waiting for his thoughts on the dream, no... new prophecy I received.

Sensei Wu pets his long, white beard. Sitting criss-cross on the floor in front of me. He hummed in contemplation. "And this is the same as the dream you had the morning you became my student?"

I nod, "It's the s-same voices, just... the words are different."

"I see," Sensei says.

"S-Sensei," I nervously fiddle with my necklace. "What do you... think it means?"

He shakes his head, "I do not fully know, but I have an idea." He gets up, searching in his drawers for something.

"What... What is it, S-Sensei?" I ask, curious.

"I'm still not entirely sure. I must meditate on it first," Sensei pulls out some incense and a match.

"S-Should I... tell the others?" I don't want them in danger again because I withheld information. I gaze guilty at the floor.

"No," Sensei sat back down, placing incense in the vase between us. "It is a prophecy. It cannot be changed. It can only tell us what is in store for the future. The others do not need to worry about something they cannot control. Same goes for you," Sensei locked eyes with me. "If you get any visions, however, you decide for yourself if you should tell."

I bowed my head, "Yes, S-Sensei." I stood up, leaving his room. I glanced back at the paper door and sighed. I walked away, directing my feet towards the room Nya and I share. Not long after Garmadon disappeared, we officially moved into the monastery. It's been two months since then, and we've gotten used to calling this place home.

I come across an open door to the training course. I stop and stare at it, a frown on my face. I've been working hard to understand my power, but it isn't as simple as an element like the guys. I bet if they tried, they could easily figure out theirs if they could tap into it. Their element is tangible, mine is not.

How can you learn to peer into the future when you don't know what to look for?

"Good morning, Mira," a voice pulled me from my thoughts. Zane walks over to me, his smile drops into concern. "Is there something wrong?"

I shake my head, "No, I'm... I'm just thinking."

Zane's smile returns, "Well, since I found you, Jay has invited me to play some video games. Would you like to join us?"
