Nothing like a long exhausting jog in the morning.

As soon as we got back to the monastery last night, we had found everyone already asleep. We didn't want to bother them then. Leading to us shaking people awake early morning and yelling at them to wake up. Well, Zane did, I mainly poked their face in hopes they would. We told them about Lloyd's treehouse and now here we are. Tired, half-wake, and grumpy.

Zane and I stopped, having been leading the group. I panted hard, but Zane was tanking it. Focused solely on finding the treehouse again.

"Hmm," he hummed as he looked around. "This looks familiar, but I'm not sure. What do you think Mira?"

I managed my gasping to a minimum, standing straight and looking around. "I... I think s-so." I took notice to one of the rocks by a tall tree. "That rock has the s-same shape... as the one we passed h-heading back."

He nods, agreeing. The guys catch up to us and stop just behind us. Sounding as out of breath as I am.

Kai steps up, "Uh, tell us again how you stumbled upon Lloyd's secret headquarters?"

"We followed a bird," Zane said, still analyzing the landscape.

"Why did you follow a bird?" Jay asked.

"Because it danced," Zane said like it was obvious.

I couldn't help the silent snicker that left my lips, the way he put it was funny to my tired mind. "Well, it c-certainly doesn't behave like... a normal bird," I elaborated for him.

"Oh, okay... Was it a cuckoo bird?" Sarcasm dripped from Jay's voice as he made the crazy gesture by his head.

Once again, me and Zane found ourselves not partaking in their laughter.

"Of course not. Everyone knows cuckoo birds are not indigenous to these forests," Zane corrected him. Purely oblivious.

I, on the other hand, was not amused. I crossed my arms and glared at the blue ninja disapprovingly. I already told them of my vision, are they really too grumpy right now to realize the importance?

I took off with Zane, keeping my lips sealed. Distracting myself by helping Zane navigate back to the treehouse.

Eventually, a tall structure lifted over a familiar hill. We all came to a stop on top of the hill we stood last night. Viewing the treehouse in all its glory.

"Watch it! No bigger!" Lloyd's young voice rose over the bustle of construction. "Come on, we don't have all day. It's not time for a lunch break!"

"Holy cannoli, you two were right," Cole stares at the treehouse in awe.

Told you. I smirked under the mask.

Kai glared at the structure. "We can't let that brat and those snakes get a foothold in Ninjago." He raises a fist, "We got to destroy that thing before it becomes operational."

"Whoa! Are you sure?" Jay objected. "It looks like a pretty cool tree house." He started to point to stuff on it. "There's a ropes course. Oh! A tree swing."

"Hey!" Cole cut him off. "Remember whose team you're on." He turned to the rest of us. "All right guys, what do we do?"

I narrowed my gaze at the structure balanced on the trees, frowning in thought. "We would need to de-destabilize it."

Kai nods, "It looks like the entire place is being supported by those three trees." He pointed a gloved hand at the trunks tied up with sturdy vines. "Once those ties are severed, the whole thing is gonna fall like a house of cards."
