I woke up in the middle of the night, Zak was shaking me lightly. "It's your watch." He says coldly.

"Zak." I sigh. "I'm sorry, I had to do something..." I explained, trying to word things without saying 'I directly betrayed the alliance.'

"Yeah? Do what?" He protested.

"I-I-..." I started. What was there to say though?

"You what?" He said, anger showing.

I stood up and walked towards him. "Kill me now." I said quietly.

"What?" He asked shocked, Anger was leaving now replaced by a pure expression of shock.

"I betrayed the alliance. Kill me." I said.

"What do you mean betrayed?" He asked.

"I saved donnors life while I was going out to find more tributes. I saved Donnor! I betrayed you and Quinnlen and I am so sorry!" I cried. Tears were streaming down mhm face, my body raked with sobs.

"Why would you do that?" A petite voice asks. I turn and see Quinnlen.

"Your mad." I state, though it sounded like a question

What do you think?" He asks, practically growling. That hurt, deeply. I thought he was my friend.

"Zak-" I started.

"I loved you Gianna! I thought you felt the same." He yelled.

I stood shocked before anger flooded my body, "I can't believe you! WE ARE IN THE HUNGER GAMES!" I look down, "I can't afford to love someone." I whisper.

"And if we weren't?" He asks.

"Then we wouldn't be having this conversation." I say. I sling my backpack over my right shoulder, leaving my quiver on my left. I grabbed my bow, make sure I have all my knifes, and walked away.

"Gianna!?" Zak called.

I just kept walking. I noticed the weather get colder, thunder rumbled overhead. "A gift from Zeus." I whisper to myself.

I kept walking for 4 miles until I reach donors cave. He is slumped against a wall, asleep, in a different place then where I left him. "He's been up. Good." I talk to myself. I slump next to him and wrap my arms around him, freezing. As I slowly drift off to sleep I see rain start to trickle. Oh joy, a storm.
