Training Day One -
I woke up to mom dragging me out of bed, shoving food in my mouth, and pushing me down the elevator. Guess she was eager to get me to training?
Donnor And me wore matching training clothes that said Poseidon on the back and had blue shoulders. We walked in to see some kids already there, then I froze.
HE made eye contact with me. "Arrow boy." I whispered. I heard him as well "Knives."
I read his shirt, "Ares.". Yet he is not stuck up and eager to kill, he looks sad about it. I waved to him and looked around for Allies. I found a one. I didn't want an ally but I felt like it was worth it.
Arrow boy.
I went to the archery range. I picked up a silver bow and loaded an arrow. It missed by 4 feet, the careers laughed but Arrow boy didn't. He walked up, adjusted my positioning and said, "Rule Number One - Aim."
I laughed and closed one eye. Aim. I let the arrow go and it landed directly on the head. I jumped up and down and hugged arrow boy before regaining my composure. I coughed and said "uh..oh..um.. thank you."
He laughed as well, "you welcome Knives."
We shot together and I got a lot better. Then I popped the question, "So Arrow boy, will you be my ally or are you gonna stick to the careers?" I asked him.
"I think I'm sticking with you." He said after a moment of thought. I mentally screamed in joy but I kept my cool. "Great, I'm heading to fire starting." He nodded and left to weights.
By the end of the day, I could start a fire no problem and and I had no trouble tying a plethora of knots.
Training day 2 -
Donnor headed to swords while I went to snares. There I found the Aphrodite girl, Tse. "Hi!" I said, "hey." She mumbled. "Do you have anyone at home cheering you on?" I asked her. She ignored me. Later I headed to weights, I could Lift about 30 lbs. not a lot.
I went on to sword, wasn't that good. It was really a waste of a day.
Training day 3 -
On the final day I went to most of the survival stations but mostly I practiced archery. That's really all that happened. I aced plants since ya know...Demeter. I could already start a fire. I learned another snare, tied it with a new knot. I learned to set a net, it was pretty good. Now, I had my private session...
Private Session day 4 -
I walked in nervous burn found everything against a wall. I grabbed 8 knifes and walked to the dummy's. I had their attention since I never touched knives during training and most people already showed there skills in training.
I threw a knife, hit the throat. I threw another, hit the forehead. Then I turned on the simulation with moving targets. I hit all the flying birds, I hit every moving person. I nailed them all. I showed some things off with a bow and then they let me leave.
At night we waited by the tv.
"So what'd you do Donnor?" My father, Percy, asked my fellow tribute.
He shrugged.
They turned to me, "Not saying." I said.
"Your screwed kid." Aplhie said.
"Thanks for the support." I said sarcastically.
I nodded. Then the scores came on.
Arrow Boy, Zak, got an 11. I grinned.
Then came us.
"Donnor Finn with a score of.....9." We cheered, guess he was good with a spear.
"And finally, Gianna Jackson with a score of..." We waited, my mother looked distressed. My father was waiting but not upset. Alphie was eating pizza.
"12."
