Harry's POV

Mya shouldn't need to feel threatened by Julia. It almost made me feel a bit insulted too that she thought something would happen.

I have the ability to move away if Julia should try anything. She should know that.

And it's not like I'm brainless.

I sighed as I walked down the sidewalk, from Mya's house to mine. It was about a ten minute walk and I figured it should let me think.

I took out my phone and dialled Joy's number.

"Hey," she answered shortly, "what's up?"

"Is Julia a threat? Should I be concerned?" I asked bluntly. Joy hummed and I licked my lips as I waited for her answer.

"Harry, Mya doesn't like the amount of attention she gives you and to be honest, I don't blame her. She's attached to you like a leech," Joy explained. I sighed and shrugged, blowing out a breath as I sighed into the cool air.

"She doesn't need to fucking worry though," I replied, "she should know that I'd back away or tell Julia to cut it out if I felt uncomfortable, and I don't."

"That shouldn't matter, Harry, she's your girlfriend. Julia is a friend," Joy said, "you figure out which is more important to you."

She didn't give me a chance to reply and hung up. I sighed as I shoved the phone back into my pocket and kept walking.

"Julia we can't hang out as much as we are," I said, looking at her as we stood in front of the History class room. Mya was already inside.

"Why not?" She pouted, "I love talking to you."

"That's nice," I replied, "but-"

"It's because of Mya, isn't it?" She sneered, flipping her hair over her shoulder, "she can't handle anyone else becoming close to you so she naturally tries to keep you all for herself-"

"What's so bad about that," I pressed, "She's my girlfriend. She has more right to me than you do. And for the record, she's not trying to keep me to herself at all. If she was, she'd be telling Joy to leave me alone too, but did she?"

"Well-"

"Well nothing. We can be friends, just not this close. You have to respect that," I said, walking into the classroom. I saw Mya catch my gaze with a smile only for it to turn to a frown when she saw Julia following close behind me. I glanced at her and rolled my eyes before I made my way to Mya. I sat down in my seat and looked over at her.

She avoided my gaze.

"Mya," I whispered, "look at me?"

She glanced at me and looked back to her notebook. I smiled softly and leaned over to her.

"Can you look at me for more than a nanosecond?"

She huffed and looked at me.

"I talked to Julia-"

"Congratulations."

I pursed my lips, "would you let me talk?"

She shrugged, "you told me to stop worrying, so I've stopped worrying. You two are friends and I need to stop being such a prude and let you live your life."

I frowned. There was a hint of sarcasm in her tone and her distaste for my association with Julia was very clear in her tone.

"Don't be sarcastic," I said, leaning back in my chair. She rolled her eyes and looked away. I felt my annoyance rise and I clenched my jaw.

"Mya."

She ignored me.

"Mya."

She looked over at Jordan.

"Mya would you stop being such a bitch-"

I shut my mouth as soon as the word came out and her head turned to me. Hurt flashed through her eyes and she frowned. I opened my mouth to speak but the shock of what I had called her wouldn't let me.

"Mya, I-"

"Fuck off," she mumbled, as Mr. Rudd began to speak.

"Mya," I called, following her as she walked down the hall. School has finished and she had to get to her car and I had to get to practice but I needed to clear things up with her first.

I rushed towards her, grabbing her arm and turning her to face me.

"Leave me alone," she said, "I'm sure Julia would have tons to say. I'm too much of a bitch aren't I?"

"Baby, please," I said, pressing her up against the wall, "I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it at all. I'm just so used to you being indifferent when girls flirt with me, this just took me by surprise."

"So you call me a bitch for worrying?"

I shook my head, leaning my forehead against hers.

"You're my world," I whispered, "I love you."

She looked up at me with sad eyes and I pleaded silently with her to forgive me. She was about to open her mouth when she was interrupted.

"Styles!"

Coach Tyler stood at the end of the hall, whistle in his hands as he stared at us, "I love how chick flicks have influenced your life a lot, but you need to come to practice."

"Go," Mya said, pushing me away. She began to walk down the hallway, "I'll see you later."

I stared after her, guilty and mad at myself for calling her a bitch in the first place.

"Styles! Let's go!"

The Imitation Game is such a good movie. Don't even tell me it isn't.
