Hey guys. I took a break from Wattpad, if you couldn't tell lol. I had some personal problems that I really needed to work through and figure out, and I just wanted some time away from writing too, cause i felt like the chapters I was putting out, weren't chapters I was satisfied with - like, I was only publishing them because you guys were waiting for a new chapter, but because of that, I wasn't able to write to my full potential.

But now I'm back. And I hope you guys are still into this book!

Harry's POV

~One Week Later~

Apparently, the UBC coach got in contact with our coach and blatantly accused me of doing drugs and being the sole source of the drugs that have been going around the team. I haven't been going to practices either, because I'd simply rather not be in Ethan's presence for the sole purpose that if I was, I'd want to beat him to the ground.

Am I pissed? Royally.

Of course Coach Tyler doesn't believe them and knows that the whole reason I'm even in this mess is because of Ethan. Jordan told me that Coach is planning on scheduling a meeting with the UBC coaches to completely discuss this and hear my side of the story. I don't know what's going to happen but it's worrying me since I've seen Ethan and know for a fact that he has good communication skills, and would have no problem in making me look like the bad guy.

I thought about it in class today, as Mya sat beside me.

"Babe?"

I looked over to find her staring at me, "you alright?"

I nodded briefly, "just thinking about the meeting coming up."

I looked back forward to my desk and sighed, smiling slightly when I saw Mya's hand come to rest on my own.

"They'll believe you," she said, "just be sincere."

"If they don't then my entire career might as well go down the drain," I mumbled, "if the coaches think that I'm the one that's the cause of all the drugs in this shit, it'll go on my record and no team will take me."

"I'm sure it won't be that bad," Mya said. I looked over at her, pointedly. She pursed her lips and looked down.

"Yeah, sorry," she mumbled, "just trying to be optimistic."

I smiled softly, "I appreciate that, babe. I really do. I just don't think my mind has room for anything other than reality right now."

She nodded, "for what it's worth, Jordan and I know and believe that the coaches will believe you. They'd be stupid not to."

I shrugged, "Ethan is their star player. Has been for years too."

"That doesn't matter. It'll be okay," she smiled again at me, "now let's stop thinking about this."

"It's hard not to," I mumbled. She hit my head with a pen, causing me to yelp softly in class and glare at her. She smiled brightly and shrugged.

"Just focus on school," she giggled. I rolled my eyes and slumped in my chair, pouting.

"When is the meeting going to be?" Jordan asked as he sat beside me in History.

"Coach Tyler said around the weekend."

It's Thursday today.

"It'll be fine, man," Jordan patted me on the shoulder and smiled reassuringly, "we've got your back."

"I don't even know how I'm going to tell my side of the story."

"Just pretend like they're hearing your side for the first time, instead of having heard Ethan's first," Jordan replied, "just be honest. Tell them about how you first started doing it, why you did, and then what happened with us and how you distanced yourself from us, and then talk about how we tried to get you to stop and eventually you did."

"I bet you Ethan's already told them that I'll make up some sad story to try to appeal to pity," I grumbled, "to save his own ass."

"Well then fuck him," Jordan said, "we're focused on saving your ass okay, not Ethan's. So just be honest, tell them the entire truth, even things you couldn't tell us if there are things like that."

"Jordan's right," Mya said, "you can't go into this worrying about what Ethan might have said. You have to worry about yourself - the story you're going to tell and how you're going to tell it."

"Maybe talk about how you'd even be willing to get kicked off the team," Jordan said.

I nodded.

"We'll see how it goes."

----------------------------------------------

this seemed like a good place to stop it, simply because I gotta go shower lmao. But the next chapter is going to be the meeting. The book is almost coming to an end!

I genuinely hope you've enjoyed the story so far. Thank you for all the support. I'm so sorry for the break i took without telling you guys lol.
