I keep getting comments on Arranged to Him and Married to Him with people nitpicking all of the details...despite me putting a disclaimer saying I wrote it when I was 15!!!!!

So it's kinda lowered my motivation to write. :/

Harry's POV

"The people from the University of British Columbia liked the way you play," Coach said as I stood with him in the hallways during lunch. People flooded by us as we spoke to each other.

"Yeah?"

He smirked.

"Yeah, kid. You're gonna go real far," he patted my shoulder and nodded, "the scholarship will be finalized by April or March, but if you ask me...it's as good as yours."

I smiled brightly and nodded, fingering the straps on my backpack as I watched my coach pull out a brochure. He handed it to me and I felt my heart race as I looked down, recognizing the familiar logo for UBC.

"What does your girlfriend want to do again?" he asked. I looked up at him.

"Oh uh," I thought for a bit, "I think she wants to head towards medicine now. She's leaning towards becoming a surgeon or something of the sort."

Coach rose an eyebrow and nodded, impressed, "well she's more than capable."

I nodded in agreement, "yeah. She's smart."

"That she is," he hummed, "well. I'll see you around. Tell Jordan I said hey."

I looked at him confused as he walked off, his sudden interest in Mya catching my attention but I thought nothing of it. He's asked about her before so I don't see why this time was any concern.

He's known all of us since we were about twelve. He lives in our neighborhood so we always used to see him around and he'd always help Jordan and I practice. Mya and Joy would always watch us, since her and Joy have been friends for a long time.

I shook my head, clearing my mind, and headed down the hallway to see Jordan. I found him at his locker, full on flirting with Joy as he had his arm wound around her waist. I walked up to them and smiled.

"Hey," I smiled. They beamed at me and nodded, pulling apart slightly.

"Hey man," Jordan smirked, "what's up?"

"Nothing, really," I shrugged, "have you finished your history report?"

He shook his head, "nope. I'll finish it today at lunch so nobody talk to me. I'm gonna be focusing."

We chuckled and nodded and I looked down the hall to see Mya coming in our direction, focused on a book she held in her hands. I smiled at how she seemed to be able to navigate despite not looking at what was going on around her. I stepped in front of her, stopping her in her tracks and causing her to look up at me.

"What are you reading there?" I asked. She smiled and looked down.

"The Problem with Forever," she sighed.

"Oh," I nodded, "what's it about?"

She smiled at me and grasped my hand in hers, "this girl, who's really shy and used to be in the foster care system, finally meets this boy she grew up with in her final year of high school, and she learns to be more outgoing and less reserved."

I nodded, "seems like a nice book."

She smiled and nodded. She noticed the UBC brochure and smiled brightly.

"Did you-"

"Not for sure," I smirked, wrapping my arm around her shoulders before I looked at Jordan and Joy, "but it's a big possibility."

She squealed and kissed my cheek as we all laughed.

"This is so exciting!"

"I don't see why you wouldn't get picked," she shrugged as we walked up the steps to her house. She unlocked the door and opened it, walking in and leaving me to trail in behind her. We peeked into the kitchen and found Jennifer and Gabbie cooking together in the kitchen.

"You're home," Mya cheered. They smiled at us and laughed as she ran and gave them both a hug. I smiled and walked over before I gave them a hug, myself.

"Harry might get the UBC scholarship," Mya smiled. I nodded and laughed as they congratulated me, excitedly.

"Thanks guys," I said, smiling as Mya took my hand and led me out of the kitchen.

"We'll be upstairs!" She called. I smiled and followed her and watched as she tossed her backpack to the floor and jumped on her bed. I placed mine beside her desk and sat on her bed, scooting over to her pillows. She sat up and smiled at me, grabbing one of my hands in her smaller ones.

"We can go to red lobster on Friday," she said, "do you want Joy and Jordan to come with us?"

I nodded, pursing my lips, "that would be fun. How about we invite my mom and your moms?"

She looked at me, "really?"

I nodded.

"Why not?" It's something to celebrate..my possibly getting into UBC," I smiled.

She giggled and nodded, leaning forward to kiss my lips.

"It is."
