Mya's POV
Harry was more aggressive on the court for some reason and I had no clue why. He was only that way with player though.
His name was Dolton? That's what his jersey said at least, so I had no idea what his first name was. He looked a bit familiar but I couldn't quite pin down where he was from or who he was.
I looked to Joy, "who's the dude that Harry keeps shoving?"
Joy shrugged.
"Jordan pointed him out to him earlier, too," Joy said, "I have no clue who he could be. Maybe they'd played against each other before?"
I nodded, "that makes sense. I just don't remember where I would have seen him."
We nodded and continued watching the game.
It was only intense whenever Harry'd have the ball and that Dalton guy would be his check, or vise versa. Other than that, it just went like any other game.
Except at one point in the game, Harry had the ball and was dribbling it down the court. He took three long strides and was about to pass to Jordan before he was knocked down by Dalton. Harry slid across the floor a couple of inches and winced as he clutched his elbow. I craned my neck to see if he was okay, and let out a sigh of relief when he started to get up.
I held my breath and it seemed everyone else did too, as nobody around me spoke as we watched them.
He stood there, breathing heavily and looking at Dalton who had his hands up in surrender and a sly smile on his face. I frowned when I saw his eyes lock with mine and he looked back to Harry, who's back was currently towards me, and said something. Harry let go of his injured arm and started towards him only to be held back by Jordan. His friend whispered something into his ear and Harry shrugged him off before he walked over to Coach Tyler.
Coach nodded at whatever Harry said and looked to the referee, signalling a T with his hands for a "Time out". The referee nodded and Harry didn't take one look at me before he walked out of the gym, grabbing his water bottle.
"You should probably go check that out," Joy said. I nodded and stood up, handing my phone to Joy before running down the steps of the bleachers and towards Jordan. He stood up as he saw me coming and smiled, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Remember that blonde dude, at a game we played a couple of years ago? The one that got into a fight with Harry?" Jordan asked. My eyes widened as I whirled around to catch a glimpse of the mystery player, recognition finally flooding through me as I realized who he was.
I turned back to Jordan.
"I should probably go find him."
Jordan smiled and nodded, "yeah..you should."
I smiled and dismissed myself from Jordan before I took off in the direction that Harry had run.
I managed to find him, after a while of turning and running around the school, in the cafeteria. He was sitting alone at a table, hands clasped and head down. He heard me coming and looked up, only to sigh and look back down. I frowned.
"Harry?" I asked, "what's wrong?"
He shook his head, looking up at me. I neared him and he reached up to grasp my hands, brushing his fingers back and forth before he pulled them to his lips and kissed them.
"I love you," he whispered. He peered up at me and I smiled before I sat down on the seat next to him. He sighed and looked over at me.
"What happened? Why did you leave?"
"I don't know if you remember who that guy was," he started. I nodded.
"Jordan reminded me," I said, "the guy that you got into a fight with that one game?"
He bit his lip and nodded.
"He was saying stuff about you again," he mumbled. I widened my eyes.
"Again?"
He bit his lip.
"Last time, I punched him because he said that he'd love to-...it doesn't matter," he shook his head, reaching over to grab my hand, "I probably screwed up with the UBC guys huh?"
I smiled comfortingly and kissed his cheek, "no. Get your ass back in there and show them that you've got what it takes to be a player for the UBC team."
He smiled up at me and nodded, before he looked down again, "I just feel so embarrassed for running out of the gym like that. I caused a huge scene. I shouldn't have done that."
"Why did you?" I asked, "what did he say that pushed you?"
"He told me that you look hot as fuck, and he'd like to...do things to you," he grumbled, picking at his basketball shorts. I scooted over to be closer to him and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I would have punched him harder and ruined his face and whatnot, but I need this scholarship, baby," he pouted. I smiled and looked at him.
"I know."
He smiled at me and cupped my cheek with his hand and pressed his lips to mine. He pulled away to peck my nose and stood up, pulling me up with him.
"Love you," he whispered, hugging me tightly, causing me to smile.
"I love you."

The boys won.
I was happy for Harry, especially when I looked over at that Dalton dude and saw him scowling at my boyfriend. I was even more happy when the people from the University came over and gave him a happy handshake, and was even more happy when he ran to me and kissed me in front of everyone.
"How do you feel?" I asked, as I sat in the passenger's seat of his car as he drove us home.
"Exhilarated," he answered, "really, happy."
I smiled cheerfully and grasped his hand in mine, "I'm proud of you."
"Thank you," he smiled brightly.
"We should celebrate," I suggested, "I'll take us out to lunch tomorrow, or on the weekend."
He nodded, "I'd be fine with that."
I smiled, happy with the fact that he respected that sometimes, I would like to pay for the two of us since he already spoils me so much. It's nice to know that even though he insists on being a gentleman, he's still respectful about making it seem...well, fair.
"Can we go to Red Lobster?" he asked. I laughed and nodded.
"Of course," I replied, "we can go wherever you'd like."

I'm suddenly into Korea. I'm listening to K-Pop, I watched this Korean Drama (Descendants of the Sun - you should watch it. 12/10 recommend.), and I had korean food a couple of days ago.
It's nice.
Hope you liked this chapter!
Love,
