I woke up and almost ran to my living room. To my surprise, I did not see any god guy there. I let out a sigh of relief, which got stuck in my throat halfway, when I saw him exiting the kitchen.
"Morning", he said as he handed me a cup of coffee.
I took the cup and started drinking, never looking his way. I got up and got ready for work. Throughout that time, he was moving about the house, doing chores, arranging things, relaxing on sofa, as if it were his house , and we both were a couple of many years who do not need words to communicate to each other.
My plan was to ignore his existence, so that he gets fed up and walks away. But when I saw the breakfast on the table, I couldn't help but smile.
I ate up (Come on, do not waste food), and exited the house, and locked the door. I could hear him yell bye to me.
If a day ago, had anyone said to me I would be leaving my house in the hands of total stranger, who had claimed to be god, I would have slapped that person to sanity.
***I walked straight into Rachel's cabin when I reached the office.
"Rachel, I need to talk with you about something important.""What is honey? Is everything alright. You sound like you killed somebody. Did you kill somebody? Don't worry, I will help you dig a hole in the the backyard and we..."
"Rachel, listen to me", I cut her short "Remember the texting god guy I told you about yesterday? He is in my house now.", I said, pausing for her response.
"What is it honey? Did you kill somebody. Let's dig a hole..."
"RACHEL, I just told you I have god guy in my home!", I whisper shouted at her.
"What is it honey?", she asked again in all seriousness.
Before she could continue, I heard a voice, a very familiarly irritating voice.
"Freeze", I heard the voice alone and looked around to see that everyone had stopped doing whatever they were doing. The scene of the busy office looked extremely calm now.
He appeared before me, sitting casually on the work desk and looking at me with serious eyes." Listen, every time you tell her about me, I am gonna rewind time. And if you want to be talking about me for hours, you may, but I will keep rewinding. But I advice you against it, cause I am seriously bored. I will wait for you in the house. Be a good girl." He said smiling sweetly, and even before I could reply, he went poof.
"What is it honey?", Rachel asked looking intently at me.
"Remember, you were very keen on making me your partner in the crime of colouring Kyle's hair copper blue when he is asleep. Let's do that sometime", I said with a sigh.
