Camden's pov
"Wake up!" I could feel someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Carmen standing next to my bed. "Okay, okay fine." I swung my legs over the side of the bed and hopped down. Stretching my arms I noticed Carmen was already dressed. She rushed me out of the room and down to the lobby. When I walked in I saw Sofia standing there on her phone with a large gap between her and the boys. I felt a little guilty seeming that we left her there with the boys alone, but that changed to embarrassment when I noticed that the boys had noticed my arrival. I made eye contact with Taehyung and my cheeks turned bright red when I remember my clothes. I had opted to stay in my pajamas since we were going to be driving for most of the day. "Thank god." I heard Sofia swear under her breath as she walked over to us with her duffle bag in hand. "Lets go." She said to her self and I could tell that she was still pissed about Carmen and I ditching her, but she would probably just rant to me then get over it. We all took the same seats, but Jungkook sat where I was, so without questioning it I sat up front.
It was a long ride and everyone but Sofia and I passed out, but I was relived to finally be home. Sofia dropped Carmen and Jin off first before Taehyung and I. She drove off with Jungkook and I knew she was going to be texting me all night long since she hates awkward situation and just tries to avoid them as much as possible by playing on her phone.
"Okay this is my room. I am sorry that I don't have a spare bed room, but my parents agreed to letting you sleep on the couch or on the floor in my room." I smiled up at Taehyung, but he just nodded and walked away. "Well fine then be like that." I whispered to myself while placing my bag on my bed so I could unpack. In the corner of my eye I saw that he had already started to inflate the air mattress on the floor. "My mom and step dad are out of town with my little brother for a couple of days, so we have the house to ourselves. He just made a small noise in response.
After I was done with unpacking and cleaning up a little bit I walked over to my window. Taehyung was chilling on the mattress on his phone. I opened up the window and started to climb out. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE GOING TO JUMP?!" I almost fell out from the sound that came out of Taehyung. "No. I am just going on the roof. Relax" I gave him a look and he calmed down. After climbing out I sat down with my eyes closed for a minute just enjoying the sound of the birds, but I was snapped out of my peaceful state when the sudden sound of a window closing ripped my eyes open. "Shit." I looked in and saw Taehyung laughing his ass off. I just flipped him off and laid back down.
I had fallen asleep. I know it wasn't a good choice, but I didn't sleep at all during the car ride. I was awaken though when a loud sound came from beside me. I opened my eyes just soon enough to see Taehyung land on his face. I burst out laughing and he glared at me but joined me after he realized what had happened. "What did you do?" I was laughing in between words and he just shrugged me off not quite sure himself. "I just wanted to see what the big fuss was out here. I had noticed you were sleeping out here, so I assumed it was pretty peaceful." He smiled down at me once he got back up on his feet. I nodded towards him then turned back to look over the country side. "It is my favorite place to be when I need to think or get away from my family." He took the seat next to me and looked over at me with concern in his big brown orbs. "Why? What is wrong with your family?" I had to look away. "Well for starters, um, my parents are divorced and don't talk much. My step dad is a complete dick. And my step sister is an attention whore. So yeah, it sucks ass." He threw his arm over me and pulled me into his side for a reassuring hug. It came out of no where. He had been so cold to me and now he was hugging me? This boy is going to be a very hard one to understand. "Camden Lilly Staton! Get your ass in here right now!" I looked over and saw my step dad peering his head out and glaring at me. It didn't help that Taehyung had is arm over my shoulder. I jumped up and walked in. "Why didn't you tell your mother that you were home and safe. She texted you!" He was staring down at me now. "I was asleep and haven't checked my phone, sorry." He just rolled his eyes and walked away. They were not supposed to be home for a couple more days, but I guess that changed. "Sorry about that I see what you mean." I turned around and saw Taehyung walk in. "Yeah. Oh shit!" I looked down at my phone to see about twenty texts from Carmen and Sofia. They were all about sneaking out tonight to go to her house since no one but her and Jungkook were there. Taehyung looked over at me curious. "Put your shoes on we are leaving." He look shocked. "But what about your parents-" I cut him off by pulling his arm back over to the window. "I don't fucking care about that right now. My mom will be fine. I doubt they will even notice us gone." I went over to the tree by the roof and hopped onto it. This wasn't the first time I would sneak out. Sofia, Carmen and I all would sneak out of ours houses to met up, so this was normal for me. Taehyung followed my every move.
