Taehyungs pov
Hey what is bothering you today? I was sitting at the lunch table totally tuned out to everything. Camden was laughing with Sofia while Carmen was talking with Jin. That left only Jungkook to worry about me. It- I just-I dont know. I think it was what that kid said in math. Do people really not see a difference? I think I just hate that they are so oblivious here. I felt so safe with the girls, but know, I just dont know. He smiled at me and I could tell he felt the same way but just didnt let it get to him. I know how you feel right now. I understand that he was just trying to get us to laugh and didnt really mean to offend us. Jungkook smiled that smile that I know all too well. Thanks man. Camden leaned into me and smiled up at me. I couldnt help but stare at her smile. It was so contagious that I had to smile back at her. So boys are you two going to join us at practice today? I looked across at Sofia who Jungkook was staring down at with comfort in his eyes. I knew that he would end up having a crush on the small girl if he wasnt careful. I was trying my best not to do anything like that. I knew that we were going to be leaving soon. There was one big secret that we had not told the girls about our life. Hey Taehyung are you even listening? It was Camdens voice that snapped me back into reality. Uh yeah I think we should it would be fun. I was quite sure what they were talking about, but I knew that she wanted us to do something. Are you sure? Jungkook looked over at me worried. Yeah. I said with a big smile plastered across my face. Okay guys just wear your tennis shoes to practice. Sofia spoke up and I realized what I just agreed to. Shit. I knew nothing about this. Okay let's go back to class now. I stood up and walked out of the room trailing behind Camden.
"So all of the boys are going to follow me to chorus now." Camden stated and we all nodded along. She motioned for us to follow as we walked down a hall way to an empty room that had a piano across from the entrance and a lady sitting at it not really paying attention. "Hey Camden, who do you have here?" The lady who I assume is the teacher stood up and greeted us. "Remember I told you that I had three exchange students that would be staying with us for a month." She nodded and went back to doing nothing. We took seats just waiting until a boy our age walked in and a girl followed in. Camden stood up and greeted the two new teens. "Guys this is Diana and Adam. They are the other chorus members." My jaw fell to the ground. "You only have three kids in chorus?" Jin took the words out of my mouth. The small boy who I now know is Adam spoke up. "No no no . We have others from different grades, but this is pretty much it." I nodded, but I interrupted when the teacher informed us it was time to start. We kind of stayed off to the side while they warmed up. "Camden do you want to practice your solo?" She looked up from her phone and nodded. I half expected her to be decent at singing, but as soon as she let out the first note I was on the edge of my seat. She sang the whole song and I could not help, but tear up a little. I saw that the boys were also impressed. "Damn she has a nice voice." Jungkook leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Yeah I know." Just as soon as she started singing the bell rang and she ran to grab her books and leave, but not before she told us to wait for Sofia and Carmen. "Did you hear her sing?" Jin walked over to us while we stood and waited "I didn't think she would be that good. I was pleasantly surprised." "Are you guys talking about Camden singing?" Sofia walked into the small chorus room and took us all by surprise. "Uh, yeah." I replied nervously rubbing the back of my neck. "Its okay. She took us aback when we first heard her sing too. Don't worry." She gave us a big smile and turned back around to walk out of the door. "Well don't just stand there like a bunch of deer caught in the headlights." Carmen laughed at us being dumbfounded.
Carmen's pov
Sofia ran into class and jumped onto the counter like desk thing that we always sat on. It was big enough to hold all five of us. The boys trailed behind me and saw Sofia already on the counter. Jungkook ran past me hopped up next to Sofia. I saw them talking and took that time to explain to the others what was happening. "So this is basically a cooking class. Sometimes we will make food while other days we don't and just end up taking notes. The class can either be really fun or extremely boring." I shrugged my shoulders and saw Jin smile before he followed Taehyung over to the counter. I followed suit and sat down. "Is this how you sit in here everyday?" Taehyung questioned us and we made eye contact before answering. "Yeah. Oh here Sofia take this." I handed her my book and she smiled over at me before grabbing her phone out of the back pocket of her skinny jeans. She put it in between the pages and started scrolling through whatever. The teacher walked in and was totally oblivious to the fact she had three new students in her class. "Okay cla- no, no, no, you all need to get down from there. Look at all of the chairs you can use." She pointed towards us and Sofia and I huffed. "We sit up here everyday and now she has a problem. Fucking hell." Sofia mumbled under her breath, but Jungkook caught it. "Sofia be careful she could have heard you." He warned her and she just brushed it off before we took our seats. "Okay good news I got all of the ingredients for today, so get your groups and lets start cooking. Groups of two." Sofia walked over the teacher and asked if she could be in a group of three with Taehyung and Jungkook which left me with Jin.
