Chapter 19

Jungkook's pov

Sofia was laying in her bed on her phone. It was now 2 in the morning. Hey Sof, you should go to bed now. I whispered to her. Ugh. No I cant. She whined. I grogerly stood up and made my way over. She was glued to her phone screen, so I just reached out and turned it off. Hey I was reading. She looked up at me with a glare. Yeah your book can wait until tomorrow. I rolled her over to the other side of the bed slowly climbing in. She and I were sleeping like this every other night at this point. We both found it easier to fall asleep next to someone. Thanks kook. She mumbled as she snuggled closer to me. I was starting to get worried. She had her travel soccer season start up last week and it was already taking a toll on her body. She was always sore and could never calm down. She was practicing from 3:30 until eight. She was always tired, but couldnt seem to sleep.

I am free! Sofia yelled out into the open as she walked out of the entrance to the school Camden was trailing behind her. I hurt everywhere. She stated as she approached the car. Camden reached for her in a grabby motion. Here I can help. She said in creepy tone grabbing at Sofia. Sofia screamed and ran the rest of the way to the car climbing in before Camden could get to her. Taehyung grabbed Camden and pulled her into the back seats with him. "YES!" I jumped in my seat as I looked over and saw Sofia on her phone with a face full of excitement. "What! What happen!?" She looked at me with a wide grin. "They canceled practice!" She shouted and threw her arms over my shoulders pulling me in for a hug. I chuckled and looked back at Camden and Taehyung who were both confused and excited for her. "Okay. So I am free, lets call Carmen and Sarah and tell them to met us at the spot." She gave us no time to respond before she pulled her phone back out and dialed Carmen's number. Once the call ended she did the same with Sarah until we started the car heading in the right direction. We all sat in silence, but it was comfortable not awkward at all. Camden and Taehyung seemed to be closer. They must have gotten over there little problem. Sofia pulled in and Carmen was right behind us in her dad's truck. "Hey!" Carmen got out and went to hug her friends. They acted like they hadn't seen them in years when it was really only hours. It just showed how close the three of them are. Sarah pulled up as well and greeted the girls the same way. They all huddle around the fire. It was about twenty minutes in and we were getting bored. The sun still had not set, so we all decided to play a small game of soccer. It was the girls against us. Carmen said she didn't want to embarrass herself, so she sat out and kept score. Taehyung took a shot straight at the goal and it went right in. Sofia huffed in disappointment. "Yes! Suck on that!" Taehyung yelled running around the field. Sofia dribbled the ball back to midfield setting it up. "Go!" Carmen yelled signaling that Sofia could play the ball. All I saw was one small smirk on her face as she glanced up at me. She was so out of breath. It looked like she could collapse at any moment now, but that didn't stop her. She touch the ball with the outside of her foot setting up for a shot. Her foot loaded and struck through the ball. It soared through the air and landed right in the goal. "Yes Sofia! Go! Haha!" Camden and Sarah ran up to congratulate their teammate, but everyone took in a sharp gasp at the fainting form of Sofia. She just fell. As soon as she went down I sprinted over towards her. "Fuck are you okay? Sofia!? Answer me for god's sake!" I was shaking her, but nothing happened. I looked up worried at Camden and I could tell she didn't know what to do either. Sofia always took care of us when one got hurt. Luckily Sarah knew what to do. "Jungkook can you carry her?" I looked up at Sarah and nodded my head. "Yeah I can." She sighed. "Great then pick her up and lets take her to the bed of Carmen's truck. I picked her up carrying her limp body bridal style. Gently, I laid her down and climbed in next to her not wanting to leave her side. "Okay we need to try and figure out why she blacked out while she wakes up." Sarah sated looking towards me. "I mean she has been pushing herself really hard with soccer. Do you think she is just over worked?" A million things were running through my mind trying to find out what was wrong. "That could be why. I think we should just wait." "Okay." I laid my body down next to hers holding onto her waist. We all sat by not saying anything. We were all worried about our friend. "Has this ever happened?" Taehyung spoke up from his spot, that was very close to Camden. "No she has never done this before." She looked down and Tae placed a reassuring hand on her back. "Wait her mom is a doctor why don't we just call her." Carmen said going to pull out her phone. "No. Don't do that. She will just worry to much and come out here." My eyes widened and I looked down to see Sofia rub her head and sit up. "Sofia why the fuck didn't you tell us something was wrong!?" Camden yelled towards her friend. "You scared the shit out of all of us. If something is wrong just tell us you need a break. You are playing more soccer than the rest of us, we understand if you get tired." She was beyond annoyed, but really just worried for her friends sake. "I know. I thought I could handle it. I'm sorry guys." Tears started to well in her eyes. Camden pulled her into a hug with Carmen and Sarah joining. "We forgive you, but next time don't be a garden hoe and tell us." Camden whispered and Sofia pushed them all away laughing. "I might of just passed out, but I will still beat your ass Staton." She pointed a warning finger at her. I pulled Sofia close to me. "Woah there tiger. We don't need you black out again." She hit my chest playfully. "No, but seriously. You scared me. I don't ever want to see you hurt, so please just talk to me." I whispered into her hair as I placed a kiss to the top of her head.
