Chapter 10

Camden's pov
The rest of the week was the same. Math, science, chorus, gym, then English or Spanish. After that practice or maybe a game. The boys had learned a lot about soccer though. They seemed to take an actual interest in the sport. Taehyung and Jungkook would cheer for us during games, but today was a big one. We had not met this team yet, but there was a lot of hype about them. I pulled off my dress from the hanger in my room and walked into the bathroom shaking Taehyung on my way to wake him up. "Tae, it's time to get up." He just groaned and rolled over onto his back staring up at me with his big brown orbs. I shook my head and chuckled while making my way back to the bathroom. I put my dress on and some light make up not wanting to go overboard because I would just have to take it off before the game. "Camden hurry up!" I grabbed my clothes and open the door only to be shoved out by Taehyung. "Okay jeez." Looking down at the time I noticed that Carmen texted me. "Hey Jin and I are going to the game today. Can't wait to see y'all win." I smiled down at my phone before tapping out my reply. "Me too. Hope it is a good game" I entered the kitchen and sat down to eat my breakfast and set Tae's out as well. "It smells great Camden thank you." I smiled and brushed it off. "Hey do you happen to own any chopsticks?" I looked at him confused as to why he needed chopsticks for toast. "Not for this but just in general." I got up and looked in the draws. "No sorry we don't have any." He got up and ran into our bedroom before coming back out with metal chopsticks. "I always come prepared." I shook my head before ushering him out to the waiting car with Sofia in it.

The day went on until we were finally dismissed from class. Sofia and I rushed to the locker room while the boys waited in the gym for us. This was the first home game we had in awhile, so the boys had never seen us in our white jerseys. We walked out giggling at each other. "You boys ready?" They turned around to see us and I swear that Jungkook's jaw hit the floor at the site of Sofia bending over to tie her shoe. He shorts were riding up her legs and she didn't notice it, so when she bent over she unknowingly gave us a nice view of her ass. Taehyung slapped him on the back of the head before pulling him out of the gym and onto the field. "Hey Camden! Come here for a minute!" I turned around and left Sofia to run across herself and made my way over to Tae. "Yeah?" He pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ear. "Don't let them syke you out. Just do your best and win the game." He pulled back and I couldn't help but want to be close to him again and breath in his scent. I blushed and thanked him before catching up with my team.

Jungkook's pov
"Go Sofia and Camden." I cheered for the girls as Sofia ran up the field with the ball resting at her feet. I couldn't help but think about how relaxed and comfortable she looked when on the field doing what she loved. She was getting close to the goal before passing it to her teammate who gave her the ball back in front. She dribbled around the defender before cutting in and taking a power filled shot at the goal. The ball soared and hit the top of the net. Carmen, Jin, Tae and I all jumped up and celebrated. She ran back to Camden and the two celebrated together. The ball was played back and forth for a little bit before it came down to the last minutes. The other team had manged to tie it up and the ball was passed back to Camden, but what happened next scared the whole team and us. Camden went to pass the ball, but the other team came in and slide tackled her completely wiping her off of her feet and onto the ground. She let out a big gasp and the reff blew the whilst Sofia ran over to help her up and complain to the reff about the uncalled for tackle. "Reff that deserves a yellow car at least!" She was yelling and the reff told her to calm down or she would get the card. She just rolled her eyes and went back to make sure Camden could still play. I looked to my right and saw Taehyung on the edge of his seat with his jaw clenched. "Tae. Are you okay?" He turned to me. "I don't know. Is she okay?" He had a hint of anger in his voice. "Look she is fine." I pointed back to the field and his head whipped back. She stood up and waved to the crowd. We all clapped for her and the game went on. It was the help of Camden's kick that gave Sofia the assist to score the winning goal in the last minute. Once the whistle was blown I jumped up and ran out to the fence that separated me from the field and ripped it open. As soon as I was past I ran out and picked #14 up from behind her spinning her around as she laughed at me. "Kookie you have to put me down now or you're going to get yelled at." She said in between breaths. I placed her down before pulling her into a hug. "See you at the car." She pushed me away before I heard a voice over the intercom. "Please stay behind the fence at all times." I looked up and saw an old man in a booth glaring at me. I bowed before apologizing and running back to the group.
