I stare across the small cell, a girl. Shivering, I tuck myself into a dark corner and wait. She doesn't say anything, I don't, we just, wait together.
After I was put into the Isolation, it shot down a hole in the ground into a room full of cells. A man grabbed me, assigning me to Cell 7402-7403.
I remember being taken, being on the train, it was terrible.
"Hey, Dad!"
"Yes, Cole?"
"I just finished my game, I'm think of cosplaying as Felix!"
And that's when terror struck across his face, he dropped the dishes he was cleaning and hushed at me.
"Don't talk too loud, the someone might hear you, learn that we're harboring a criminal."
"Criminal?"
My mom walked in at the word, criminal and she gripped onto the phone and called 911. "Hello?... Police? Yes, this is Astrid Wilson. I have one in my house... Yes, my address if 9263 Hollow Wood... Okay, thirty minutes?... Yes, thank you." She hung up and slapped my across my face. "You're a criminal! You broke the law!" She was screaming as her nails dug into my arm. "John!" I remember this part, I was betrayed by my father. "Get me the bat in the garage."
My eyes were widen with fear and she shoved me against the wall. My dad stared at me, and walked to the garage, slowly.
"Mom! Please st-"
"Stop? You don't tell me what to do! John, hurry up with the bat!"
My father returned, he held a wooden bat, and handed it to my mother. She started to hit me in the gut, until the doorbell rang.
The men came, grabbed me, shoved me in a truck while another one sat next to me with a gun to my head.
And that, is how I got here, in a dark cell. I stare at the girl, who is now crying. "Hi." I say, crawling across the cell and reached my hand out. "I'm Cole Wilson."
The girl tucked her knees to her chest. "I'm Avia, Avia Grey." She didn't shake, but I think I know why. We sat next to each other, in our matching white shirt and blue jeans. Her's fit perfectly as mine were extremely baggy.
I realize that the room which holds the cell has four more of them. I recognize everyone. The girl who was obsessed with anime, The Fault In Our Stars, Dan Howell, Phillip Lester. One with TheFineBros.
"Why are you here?" I ask, playing with some dirt on the bottom off my shoe.
"It was YouTube, a band." Avia pauses, "why are you here, Cole?"
I sigh, "I played on my 3DIDS, and fell inlove with Hero's Death. One of the characters was named Felix, hero of fire. I found him interesting, he didn't drink cold water, his sword is made out of dried ashes smelted together."
"I don't think that's even possible." She responds, almost giggling.
"We'll see. The human race has evolved a lot since 2014."
