We sit in silence, I tend to take small bites of bread at a time. "So," I say, slumped against the cement wall, "did you drink any of the shower water?" I ask. I get no reply besides a thumbs down. "If you don't get hydrated, you'll die, in like a week and a half." Avia bit it lip and tucked her knees to her chest.

"Don't worry," she grins. "I'm fine."

I stand up, a dirty white shirt falls to the ground, it's either I cover the dead body or cover us. I simply unfurl it and drop the shirt on the corpse, hoping it won't haunt me during the night. I sit back down, next to Avia and sigh.

"Did you save your dirty clothes?" I ask, pulling out a pair of dirty jeans that was tucked in under my shirt. I place my foot in the middle and pull, separating into two. Do the same to ave two pairs of arm warmers. I hand some to Avia who grasp it and quickly slips them in.

"They're not the best. But, it'll do." She says, "but, I'm just thinking that you urinated the jeans while you were on the train."

I shove her gently, "shut up." I say, "I didn't, they gave my the clothes after I got off. So, yeah."

She shrugs playfully, "just saying, I mean. I would of. You were probably terrified to death." Avia smirks.

"To be honest I was."

We laugh for awhile until a guard bangs on the bars. "You two are quite talkative for being in prison." He unlocks the door. "C'mon now." I place my hand I between Avia and I and she clasps onto it.

I stand up, and walk out, following a line of prisoners. We walk to the fields, grab a pickaxe and shovel and begin. The field is surrounded by a fence, some of the girls climb over, but are grasped by guards at pulled inside.

"If you find anything valuable, we'll give you another loaf of bread and a small bottle of water. Avia and I flash a grin and continue to mine. We take broken, crushed stone and burry them. We hack against the hard rocks until I find a shiny piece of crystal inside of one. "Avia, look. We can get more supplies." I nudge her and put in into my pocket. It gets colder and we took off of the arm warmers.

About an hour later, we have 3 crystals in all, we turn them in and get out loaves of bread and water.

Joyfully, we separate all the supplies evenly and slip our arm warmers back on as the lights go out, I slip off my shoes and use them as a pillow while Avia decides to sleep on my stomach this time.

And, we sleep.
