Jacobs POV

When we first saw her today I felt my heart drop to the pit of my stomach, I just stopped breathing.. She had got even skinner, I could see her bones, her lips where blue from being cold and it wasn't even cold! She had scars across her arms manly her right harm it was covered. She had bruises over her body, she was shaking and she just looked at us with no emotion but yet she looked like she was in so much pain.. Every movement she made you could see her getting weaker, when she spoke about them pure fear filled her eyes. She had on different clothes, she had a dirty short skirt on then a fitted top then right on top of her head.. Bens cowboy hay

I knew he was with her!! I just knew it!! First it was him losing his hay and coming back with a rabbit, then later on when he was playing with that red pocket knife I knew it was Riley's, then he kept disappearing every 7 days at sunrise he would always walk south taking bigger steps then normal.. He wouldn't come back till one of us called for him, but he would always take a few minuets to come into sight or even answer.. Then he would come back knowing more moves a better aim, he would fight like Riley.. I knew he was with her but I didn't follow him I should of, I could of gotta her to come back I could of saved her from going through that shit!!

"I'm gonna check on Riley" I said and got up walking to the end of the bus but what I found shocked me.. Riley sat there shaking scratches covering her, she was pointing a gun to her head "Riley" I said softly and turned facing her "put the gun down" i herd the others moving but they stayed back "Riley please-"

"What's the point" she said and looked at me tears streaming down her face "what's the point of any of this?" She asked pressing the gun to her head "if I pull the trigger, then I die, they won't be after me, you'll all be safe, one less mouth to feed, more water for all of you, one less person to look after and worry about, I should be dead" she said still looking at "I'll i pull this trigger, all the pain will go" she said in almost a whisper "I don't want to live, I want to be dead, this this is not living this is surviving hell, why are we trying to survive? How do we know it's gonna be okay after this? How long will this go on for? I'm sick of everything. What happened to me there is killing me, even before this I was in my own hell" she said and I just let he vent "I want to die"

"Riley please put down the gun" I said softly and she asked why "we can't live with out you" I said and she laughed dryly "your thinking of everything in a bad way try to think positive" I said and sat down on the floor moving closer to her "your beautiful, everything about you inside and out is beautiful, you just need some help to get back on track. Don't think about it as surviving think of it as I knew way of living, we are gonna find a way to get back to normal, how it used to be but it will be better even if it's not it still will be, we have a chance to make this our own world, this is our adventure this is just the great fall before the great climb, everything is gonna get better, we are gonna make our own new world we just have to get rid of all the old shit, the walkers are part off that once we get rid of them, this world is ours" I said and she looked at me

"I'm going insane" she said in a weak shaky voice

"You already are insane" I smiled a little at her "we're all insane but if we wasn't it would just be boring"

"Your a idiot" she said and took the gun from her head and looked at it "but I could take my life right now, it wouldn't make a difference, no one would care, I'm worthless.."

"Don't you ever say that" I said and she looked at me again "we all care about you here, your like family none of us knew each other at the start and slowly we have all bonded together and you broke through that and made your way into all of are hearts, your a amazing girl, life just isn't right without you" I said truthfully and got closer to her "Riley give me the gun" I held out my hand and she slowly passed it to me and I took the bullets out and dropped it on the floor then picked her up "you need to rest" I said and she nodded so I brought her out the room and over to the beds placing her on the middle one where she had slept before "goodnight"

"Jay" she said softly and I nodded my head "I-I don't want to be alone, I'm to scared" she said in a whisper and nodded my head and climbed into the bed with her shutting the curtain and putting us under the blanket, I slipped off my shoes and shirt and laid down then pulled her into me, she cuddled into my side laying her head on my shoulder/chest, I kissed her head softly "goodnight jay"

"Goodnight Riley" I whispered and closed my eyes cuddling her and fell right to sleep

I opened my eyes and cuddled .. Wait what.. I looked down seeing Riley, what.. Riley?! Oh wait.. I remember.. I pulled her closer to me cuddling her witch she seemed to like cause she smiled a little and cuddling into me even more "you awake?" I whispered kinda hoping that she wasn't., she didn't answer but her breathing was different.. Yep.. She's awake.. "I know your awake" I said not bothering to whisper "Riley" I said and she hide her face into my chest making me chuckle "I know for a fact that you are awake, your breathing has changed"

"You pay attention to my breathing- fuck.. I mean.. You woke me up, like just a few seconds ago what are you talking about" she said trying to play it off then huffed "you don't believe me do you"

"Not even a little" I chuckled and she sighed then we laid there in a comfy silence "I'm going to have a shower" I said an cilmed out of the bed giving her a smile before walking away leaving her there

RILEYS POV**

I sighed and got up going to Lilly who was making tea "Lilly" she looked up and smiled at me saying that her clothes was on her bunk I nodded a thanks and grabbed undies, bra, leggings and a random sweater then it changed before going to John

"Before you ask" he said with a knowing smile "we are going south, we will arrive in about 4 hours non stop driving, Jacobs old house is there so we are gonna check it out and hopefully stay there for a few days no I don't need help or company so go and rest" I smiled and nodded at him not saying anything as I walked to the back of the bus

"Fucking hell Ben watch what your doing!" Jacob shouted as Ben tripped into him spilling water down him

"Calm down" I said and let's just say wasn't the best idea as we ended up in a full blown argument for almost an hour..
