Cleo's POV

I was sitting in my bedroom bored out of my mind. I just lay on my bed, my head using a pile of clothes to make a comfy pillow, while listening the mixed playlist that I had just finished making earlier in the day. Right now the song 'Stay' by Mayday Parade was playing.

Slowly lifting me to somewhere new

Oh can you tell, I haven't slept very well

Since the last time that we spoke, you said

"Please understand if I see you again don't even say hello."

I must say this song always gets to me. It gets me thinking of how horrible it would be to not want to lose someone but you don't have a choice. You just want them to stay. I lay there for a few more minutes before going downstairs to make myself some food because a girls gotta eat! I lazily stepped down my stairs and made my way into my kitchen before walking over to open the pantry.

Ok so my mom didn't go to the store so... Mac'n'cheese it is! I said to myself. I grabbed the box of Kraft and ripped it open setting the packet of cheese aside. I then got out a pot and filled it half way with water and then setting it onto the flame. One the water started boiling I added in the noodles and stirred them around a little waiting for them to get cooked. Once they were ready I strained it in the sink and brought it back to the stove before adding the butter, milk, and cheese packet. After stirring that all I put it in a bowl and went and sat at our little table in the kitchen. I was eating my food when my phone buzzed signaling that I had gotten a text.

Hey wanna go mini golfing tonight? we haven't been in a while :-p

Ya sure! I'm going to ride my bike over there so we can meet there in about 25 min?

I had finished my food so I went and put the empty bowl in the sink. I then ran up the stairs skipping a step in between before heading up into my room to get ready. I opened my closet and found a white tanktop which then I tucked into some high wasted ripped jean shorts. I added over top my peach-colored knit cardigan before slipping on my mint green converse high tops http://www.pinterest.com/pin/119556565082888336/ (Link also in the side bar) I decided to keep my hair down and I didn't bother to put any makeup on because it was just Luke. I looked at my phone and 15 minutes had already passed. This gave me just enough time to ride my bike down there and make it on time. I ran down my stairs and out my front door before texting my mom to tell her where I was going. I then got on my bike and rode over to meet Luke.

I got there right on time and I was Luke holding up green and purple golf clubs and balls. He had already payed which made me feel bad.

"Luke if you waited for me then I would have paid for my own stuff." I said to him.

"Ya but then we would be wasting the time that we could be spending playing! It's no big deal Cleo don't worry." He said back to me. I decided to drop it because there's no point of fighting when I obviously wouldn't win. We made our way down to the first mini golf course. The first whole had a soccer player that was moving back and forth. You had to time it right so your ball wouldn't hit his legs and would go past his legs to where the hole was located. Then you would have to put it in.

I was going first so I set the ball down on the ground before standing on the left side of it. I lined up the club with the ball and took some practice swings first. I bit my lip in concentration before hitting the ball. I had timed it perfectly so the ball went right in between his legs and then rolled onto the green. It kept rolling and didn't stop until it dropped right into the hole.

"Yay! Hole in one!" I jumped up and down excitedly before turning back to Luke.

"Beat that Lucas." I said in a cocky tone. He gave me a smirk before walking and placing down his ball on the ground. He got the club in position before hitting the ball. It bounced off of the guys leg and rolled right back to Luke.

"Hey that's not fair! It's probably moving back and forth faster then when you hit it!" He complained. I chuckled a little at his attitude before he set it up to go again. This time he got it through the legs and it rolled onto the green. It rolled a little more before landing right next to the hole. Luke huffed angrily before finally hitting the ball in, giving him a total of three hits. He bent down and picked up the ball out of the hole before walking to stand next to me.

"It's ok Luke. It's not my fault that I am amazing at mini golf." I told him before strutting away to the next hole. We arrived at the next hole that was set up a little differently. It was a big castle and there was a little doorway are the base which is where you had to his the ball into to get it to get to the area with the hole. I little ditch filled with water surrounded the whole castle. Because I won on the last hole, I got to go first again. I did the ame procedure as before and the ball rolled through the doorway ending with me getting another hole in one. I have to admit I have a gift when it comes to mini golf. I looked over at Luke who was already setting up for his turn. He just gave me a playful annoyed face before going to take his turn. This time he hit it a littel too hard which made the ball bounce off of the caslte and land right in the water.

"What?! How did that even happen! I swear this game is rigged!" Luke shouted sounding annoyed. I just laughed at him before he had to set up once again. He got it through the hole but had still hit it to hard so it rolled way past the hole. You could tell that he was now getting impatient because he had to hit it two more times before if finally went in.

"Ok Luke, so that one took you three hits plues the 2-point water penalty so you totaled that round with five hits" I said in a happy way. He rolled his eyes at me before walking to the next hole.

The rest of the day went like this. In the end I obviously ended up beating Luke which he wasn't too happy about.

"Luke you were absolutley terrible at that." I told him as we walked out of the doors.

"No I wasn't those things were obviously rigged so it;s nearly impossible!" He said back.

"Ya sure, Lucas. Keep telling yourselft that." I said giving him a pat on the back.

Luke had to get going for a family party at his grandmas's house so we said our goodbyes before I rode my bike back home.
