Cleo's POV

By the time I got to Luke's house it was already around 9 o'clock. I walked up to the front door and knocked harshly, trying to hold back more tears from spilling out. All I needed right now was Luke.

"Luke, honey get the door please?" I heard Mrs. Hemmings call from the house. A few moments later the door knob moved and the door opened revealing an annoyed looking Luke. His eyes instantly softened when he saw my tear-stained face.

"Can I come in?" I asked, my voice cracking at the end. Luke nodded before he opened the door fully. Once it was open I ran into his arms and he held me tight.

"Lets go talk about what happened upstairs, Cleo" he stated while sounding like he already knew what had gone on.

"Who was at the door, Luke?" Mrs. Hemmings asked walking into the room. Right when she saw me she came and hugged me.

"Oh my gosh, Cleo, are you alright? Are you hurt?" She asked in a worried tone. Luke knew I would have trouble speaking so he talked for me.

"She's alright mom. I'm just going to take her upstairs to talk for a little bit. Actually, do you think that she could sleepover tonight?" Luke asked her. She gave us an uncertain look.

"Please mom? I promise nothing bad will happen. Just this once?" Luke pleaded. She was quite for a few more moments before sighing in defeat.

"Alright, I suppose. Cleo, I'll call your parents and tell them the plan." She said before walking out of the room. Luke gave me a little smile before grabbing my hand taking me up to his room.

Once we reached his room Luke sat on his bed, resting his head on his headboard and patted for me to come and sit next to him. I walked over and sat next to him laying my head on his shoulder, him wrapping his arm protectively around me. Right when his arm wrapped around me the tears started falling hard.

"Luke I'm so sorry!" I cried into his chest.

"Hey," He said while rubbing my arm.

"Tell me what happened." He said. I first told him about how he was late and then acted like a complete jerk on the way there. I then told him about how he made me sit in the back when I didn't want to.

"And then- while we were- we were- sitting down, he started touching my leg and then tried to kiss me and wouldn't- let- go!" I said in between sobs. I felt him stiffen around me.

"What a douche bag" was all Luke said.

"Luke I'm so sorry! I should have listened to you, but I didn't! I acted like a horrible friend when you were only trying to help me!" I cried even harder now into his chest.

"Cleo, look at me." Luke said. I didn't look up.

"Please, Cleo?" He asked before using his finger and touching the bottom of my chin so I looked up at him. I bet I looked like a complete mess. My hair was everywhere and god knows what my makeup now looked like. Luke continued to stare at me.

"It's ok, Cleo. Everybody makes mistakes at some point. You deserve so much better than that jerk. You deserve someone who will listen to you, comfort you, and someone who will always make sure you are ok. You deserve someone who will love you unconditionally no matter what happens. You deserve someone who will always be there through thick and thin and wouldn't ever try something with you until you were ready and felt comfortable with it. Don't waist your tears on Channing because he's not worth it." Luke stated his eyes never leaving mine. I smiled at him.

"What did I ever do to deserve to deserve you, Luke" I asked. He let out a little chuckle.

"I could say the same thing to you." He said back. I let out a yawn. Luke quickly got up and walked over to his closet, grabbing two tshirts and another pair of boxers. He threw me the boxers and a shirt before I walked into the bathroom and slid on the comfortable clothes feeling warmth instantly take over me. When I went back into Luke's room the lights were already off and he was laying peacefully in his bed. I walked over and pulled down the covers sliding in right beside him. He wrapped one arm protectivly around me and nuzzeled his head into my hair. I felt my eyes becoming more tired before I felt the much wanted sleep take over me.

---

The next day I woke up to find Luke sitting on the end of the bed just staring at me. When I glanced back at him his face flushed red.

"Luke Hemmings how long have you been staring at me for?" I asked with a smirk on my face. Luke coughed awkwardly.

"What are you talking about I totally wasn't staring at you." Luke defended his cheeks turning an even darker shade of red as he spoke. I let out a little giggle because of his personality before I heard my phone go off indicating that I have a new text. I glanced down at the screen.

From: MOM

Please call me when you wake up its important

Luke was reading over my shoulder so he had seen the text too. I looked up at his and his eyebrows were knitted in confusion. I probably had a similiar look on my face. What was so important that I had to call my mom?

I unlocked my phone and typed in the passwork before going into my contacts and finding the name MOM . I pushed the call button and it started to ring.

There was a little moment of silece before my mom picked up the phone.

"Hi mom! You told me to call you becuase there was something important we needed to talk about? What is it?" I asked her.

"Cleo, you need to come home right now." She said seriously into the phone.

"Wait, mom, is this because Luke and I had a sleepover last night? I swear nothing happened he was just being a good friend-" She cut me off.

"Cleo, this isn't about Luke. Please come home and I promise I will explain everything when you get here." She said.

"Um ok then. I'll leave now then. See you soon." She then hung up on me leaving me very confused.

"What happened?" Luke asked me.

"She didn't tell me. All she said is that I needed to come home right now." I said back to him.

Luke walked me down the stairs and I slid my shoes on and grabbed all of my things from last night, still wearing Luke's shirt. I pulled Luke into a hug.

"Thank you so much for last night Luke. I honostly don't know what I would do without you." I said with my head rested on his chest.

"It's no problem, Cleo. and don't forget what I said. He's not worth crying over." Luke said back to me. His head was rested on top of mine and we stayed in that position for a good minute. I pulled out of the hug before walking out of the door and walking home.

---

A few minutes later I arrived back at my house and I was about to walk through the front door. I took the key out of my bag and put it into the key hole before turning the handle and pushing the door open. Once I got inside I quickly closed the door and then turned around to come face to face with my parents.

"Oh my god you scared me!" I said putting my hand over my chest and trying to steady my breaths from the scare. My dad had his hand on my moms shoulder. My parents just kept staring at me with guilt in their eyes.

"Guys, what's going on?" I asked them a little worried. My dad sighed and looked over at my mom.

"I think it's best that we sit down." He said. We all walked over and sat at the dining room table.

"Can you guys tell me whats going on? Did someone die? Are you pregnant mom?" I asked. My mom let out a small chuckle.

"No don't worry I'm not pregnant and no one died."

"Oh ok well what's going on then?" I asked. They stayed completely silent. My mom looked down and started playing with her hands.

"Guys you're really starting to freak me out." I said a little quieter. More silence filled the air.

"So are you guys going to tell me or..." I said dragging out the 'or'.

"Cleo," My dad said sighing.
