19- the date

  I was getting in my car really excited for me and Shaynes date. During the way to driving I was playing the soundtrack to Beauty and the Beast. Just to remember the songs. Once i got to the place I was about to walk in but then I remembered.

Flashback

"IF MY PARENTS KNEW I WAS GAY THEY WOULD KILL ME" Shayne yelled

I just felt bad and let out a little tear for Shaynes sake. I wonder what his life was like. I felt really bad for Shayne. And that's when it hit me. I don't know what he would go through everyday and still be happy and the same Shayne that he is. He must be a really charismatic guy to have terrible parents, and get bullied for being the way he is and liking the same gender. Hell I couldn't even handle bullying even though my parents accepted me. That's when I saw Shayne run outside and get in my car.
  "I though I was picking you up"
  "Well I decided to come pick you up"
  "Okay Dames."
We kept driving to the movies. And during one of the songs I stopped and asked
  "Hey Shayne can I ask you something?"
  "Sure What is it?"
  "How do you stay so happy when you have terrible parents, and you get bullied regularly. I'm just wondering because you're so happy and charismatic."
  "Damien. The reason I'm so happy is because I have you"
  "What do you mean" I ask wondering and getting happier
  "I was so unhappy everyday before I met you. You brought me so much joy and happiness. I couldn't live without you Damien. I look up to you. I ignore it all because I know you'll make me happy some way or another. When I say 'I love you' Damien I really mean it. So with that saying I love you Damien. And I hope you feel the same"
  "I feel so happy that I can bring you joy. I love you too Shayne. With every meaning of the word"
  We continued to drive to the place and now I don't think I could ever be sad again. I had this eccentric feeling of joy. Shayne just told me that I'm the reason he could be so happy in this terrible conditions. We got to the movie and walked up to the counter and ordered our food. We ordered a large buttered popcorn. While ordering the worker said
  "Are you guys friends?"
  "No...he's my boyfriend" I say with a weirded out tone. Shayne had the same look like what is she talking about. I guess she was asking because he was leaning on my arm and had his arms wrapped around my arm.
  "But...a man isn't supposed to like a man"
I was getting annoyed and I could see a disgusted face on Shaynes face
  "Ma'am could I just pay for our food"
  "Okay fine...but I'm telling you this is wrong"
  I just shook my head and got my food. As me and Shayne were walking to theater. Shayne just lifted up a middle finger to the worker and we continued to walk to the theater. I started to laugh and smile that I had this man in my life. We both went into the theater and sat down in our seats. We were seeing Love, Simon it was a great movie from what we had heard. I put my arm around Shayne and he leaned on my chest. We watched the movie and during the half I started to cry and so did Shayne. I said
  "You might want to get off my chest. So you don't get a waterfall on your head" Shayne started to laugh. It was so emotional the last half. I was already in tears and it felt like I was holding back more. There was a kiss scene so during it Shayne wanted a kiss so I gave it to him. Then the movie was over and I really like it 9/10. I asked Shayne the same question and he said the same, 9/10. Then I got in the car and I said
  "Alright time to take you home"
  "Noooo Ugh"
  "Sorry but I have to take you home"
  "Let me come with you. I want to sleep with my boyfriend pleeeaaaseee."
  "But won't your parents be mad at you"
  "I'll make up an excuse. Like I had to crash at your place."
  "Are you sure?"
  "YES DAMIEN JUST DRIVE!"
