The Unordinary

(Alleyahs POV)

I was awaken by the annoying sound of my alarm. Happy Monday. I rolled over half awake and shut it off. I thought to myself okay only 5 more minutes and drifted off into a deep sleep.

"ALLEYAH WAKE UP IT'S 7 O'CLOCK YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IN 15 MINUTES!" I heard my mom yell and then switch on my lights.

Shit. I murmmered underneath my breath. I quickly hopped out of bed and picked up what was laying on the floor. Leggings and a crewneck. 60 degrees was cold for California, especially for it being spring time. I hurried to the bathroom and put my hair up into a messy bun. I put a little bit of foundation on and some mascara. There was bags underneath my eyes that I had no time  to fix.

I quickly ran down the stairs suprisingly i didn't trip and fall face first down them. "Bye mom!" I yelled halfway out the door.

"Sweetie wait! You need to eat something, your brain can't function on an empty stomach!" She yelled back.

I rolled my eyes and quickly got a banana and ran out the door. I got into my dad's truck. I got it after he passed away a year ago. I tried to turn the ignition on and it wouldn't budge. "Fuck!" I yelled. Of course this would happen when i'm already late enough. I pulled out my phone to call my best friend.

"Hey Meghan, It's me Alleyah. Um my truck kinda wont start.. Is there a chance you can take me to school?" I asked.

"I'm already almost to the school but ill turn around just for you." She replied.

"Thanks Megs, you're the best!" I cheered.

I sat in my car and put my head on the steering wheel. I was about to fall asleep when i heard a horn honking. I got out of the car and went into Meghan's nice BMW. Both her parents are lawyers. 

"Hey Alleyah." She greeted.

"Hey Meghan thanks for coming to get me." I said.

"No problem, you know anything for a sister!" She laughed.

We made it to the school in 10 minutes and usually it takes about 15-20 so i knew she sped. We got out of the car and walked into the school, surprisngly with 2 minutes until first hour starts. I was for sure we were later than this. Me and Meghan have first hour together, which is anatomy so we walked in together at the same time. 

When I walked in I saw the guy i have been crushing on for months. Cameron Dallas. He had dark brown eyes with brown hair that was always fluffed the perfect way. He always wore hoodies and skinny jeans with vans with snapbacks. I don't know why i'm attracted to him because i'm a "goody-two-shoes" who always does her homework and gets all A's and he's the fantasy bad boy. I realized i've been standing in front of the class just staring at him when the teacher spoke.

"Ms. Banks? Are you having trouble finding your seat? It's been the same all semester." 

"Uh oh um sorry no." I said when my throat got real dry.

My seat was across the room from Meghan of course and Cameron sat diagonal from me. I sat there during the boring lecture all hour long and we had to memorize all the bones that make up your legs by the next day. I love anatomy but it's a hell of a lot of memorizing.

The bell rang for 2nd period and Meghan caught up with me.

"Hey what was that all about in class?" She questioned.

"Oh nothing, just really tired." I said. I didn't lie, i was really tired. 

I saw Cameron with his friends Nash Grier and Matt Espinosa at his locker. I couldn't help but stare at him. Ugh he'll never notice me. I'm not annoyingly pretty but i wouldn't say i'm exactly ugly either. Just nothing to gawk over. 

"Alleyah! HELLO?!" Meghan waved her hands in my face.

"What?" I snapped.

"I was trying to ask you if you wanna go to my locker first but i guess you were tired again." She said the emphasis on tired.

"Oh yeah sure." I said.

Finally the school day was over and we headed out to Meghan's car. 

"Alleyah, do you want to have a sleepover tonight?" Meghan asked.

"Sure, we almost pratically have one every night so why not?" I said.

"Okay cool, can it be at your house? My parents are annoying." She said.

"Yeah sure, i'm sure my mom won't mind." I said. My mom is pretty laid back about a lot of things.

We stopped to Meghan's house to get her things and then we headed on to my house. Once we got there I had to use the bathroom so i just told Meghan she could head to my room.

(Meghan's POV)

I walked to Alleyah's room and sat my stuff down. I sat down on her bed and saw her journal sitting there. Don't open it Meghan, it's an invasion of privacy i thought. But curiosity got to me and I opened up to a page. I started reading and I couldn't believe it. Alleyah had a crush on Cameron Dallas? He is no good, he just spells out trouble. She cannot fall for him after what he had done to mine and Alleyah's friend Lexi. How can she even look at him like that? I had to stop her somehow.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING MEGHAN THAT IS MY JOURNAL!" I heard Alleyah yell and it startled me. 

"WHY DO YOU LIKE CAMERON? HE IS NOT GOOD ALLEYAH AND YOU KNOW THAT!" I yelled right back at her.

"I asked YOU a question FIRST!" She yelled.

"I don't know Alleyah. But seriously Cameron?" I asked lowering my voice to calm things down between us.

"I can't help my feelings Meghan." She said.

"You know what he did to Lexi! He's a little shit that you shouldn't be crushing over!" I yelled.

"Meghan get out!" She yelled.

"I'm only trying to help you Alleyah!" I yelled.

"By doing what? Controling who I can't and who i can like? Just GET OUT!" She yelled.

I grabbed my things and rushed out of her room.

"Where are you going Meg? You just got here!" Mrs. Banks questioned.

"Um i just have to go." I said and walked out the door.

She cannot fall for Cameron Dallas.
