chapter 6

(Cameron's POV)

Two shots were fired but one only made their target.

The world around me just shut off, it was like i was sufforcating. Every thing was pitch black and i couldn't hear a thing. i was dying. I was a sure of it. I am going to hell, i thought.

Then the gun slipped out of my hand
and made a clanking noise against the ground and dropped me out of whatever i was in. My hands were shaking cause i for sure thought i was gone. But i was the one that made the target. I shot Venice.

I then heard muffled screams from behind.

(Alleyah's POV)

I got into my truck and left Cameron's. Why does he always have to leave whenever i show up? Is he hiding something from me?

"Then why did you guys leave then?" I asked.

"I can't tell you that." Cameron said as he looked down.

"Yeah okay whatever, only shit is coming out of your mouth right now, i don't deal with jerks." I shrugged off his arm.

"If you were mine, i would let you know why we left, but right now, i can't." He whispered into my ear.

I remembered that day when i was about done with him. What is he keeping away from me?

On that trail of thought i got really hungry so i wanted to go to taco bell. I realized i already passed the road it was on so i had to turn around. I turned around in a suburban house driveway and turned around. When i was almost passing the bank, i saw Cameron's Tahoe there and a van. I then saw Cameron outside with a gun and another guy with a gun that was wearing a long black trench coat. Fuck. I murmmered.

I pulled onto the side of the road and got out of my truck. I quietly made my way behind Cameron's Tahoe. A gunfire went off and i could not look. I knew Cameron was gone. I was quietly sobbing and then it turned into muffled screams.

(Cameron's POV)

The screams sounded like they were coming behind my SUV. So i checked behind it. I then saw Alleyah sobbing and screaming with her head locked into her knees.

"Alleyah? What the fuck are you doing here!" I yelled.

"C-Cameron? I-I thought you w-were dead." She managed to get out between sobs.

"Well i'm standing here aren't I? Did you follow me here?" I asked trying not to get furious with her.

She just gave me glare and stood up. She looked at the ground trying not to let another tear fall from her eye. She looked over to see a man laying dead on the ground in which was Venice. She then looked up at me and yelled, "YOU KILL PEOPLE FOR A FUCKING LIVING?"

I did not expect her to say that. "It's not what you think Alleyah, you don't even really know what I do!" I yelled back at her.

"You just killed a person Cameron! How do you fucking explain that?" She said with tears starting to form again.

I tightened my jaw and looked down at the ground for second. "I can't tell you." I said as cringed at the words that came out of my mouth.

"Is that what it's ever going to be? You can't tell me? What kind of relationship is this then? I am not buying it." Alleyah spat.

"Fine if you don't like me for me, then maybe we shouldn't be together!" I yelled.

"Fine! Better off with you anyways!" She huffed off.
