chapter 3

(Meghan's POV)

I'm really upset that Alleyah is doing this. She won't listen to anything that i have to say. I just want to protect her away from any trouble and i don't want to ruin our friendship over this. I don't want her to be like Lexi. I went into my 2nd hour class and once i sat down i shot Alleyah a text.

To Alleyah:

After school meet me at my car.. We need to talk.

Imediately after i felt my phone vibrate.

From Alleyah:

Ok.

(Alleyah's POV)

Once I got into my class I felt my phone vibrate. A text from Meghan, what could she possibly want now?

From Meghan:

After school meet me at my car.. We need to talk.

I rolled my eyes after reading that. I texted her back an 'ok' and left it at that.

I love Meghan but she is getting on my last nerve. She's acting like a mom right now, worse than mine actually. I understand she wants to "keep me safe" but i can watch out for myself. I'm going to talk to Cameron whether she likes it or not.

School ended and i walked out to Meghans car. I was going through my mind what she was going to tell me now. Anything that she tells me is not going to change anything.

"Hey." Meghan said.

"Um hi." I said.

"I understand that you like Cameron, but i don't want to ruin our friendship over this..." She lead on.

"Then it doesnt have to?" I stated rhetorically.

She sighed and went on, "Can you do me a favor? Just please stay away from him?"

"Meghan i am not going to stay away from him. This is ridiculous, i'm leaving now bye." I started to walk off when she grabbed my arm.

"Alleyah.. You know he rapped lexi." She stated.

"Meg, We don't know if that's true.." I said.

"What? Do you not believe one of your good friends?" She asked.

"No Meghan, i do. But you know she was passed out drunk. Cameron wasn't the only one there you know." I said.

"But she said it was him.." She said.

"She said she thought it was him not it was him there is a difference." I told her.

"I guess so, but i still don't have a good vibe around him.." She said.

"Well that's just you." I said.

"Just be careful around him okay?" She said.

"Okay." I let out a slight smile.

"So are we good now?" She asked.

I couldn't help but smile and laugh, i mean she's like my sister for pete sake. I went in for a hug and she accepted it. It was nice being on good terms again. 

"Hey meet me at the store i have to get some things for my mom." Meghan said.

"Okay meet you there." I said. Me and Meghan do literally everything together, and going grocery shopping for our parents is one of them.

I walked off to my car and saw Cameron and his friends heading out to their cars. He then saw me and gave me a smile.  I couldn't help but smile back. I was probably smiling like an idiot. I then stopped when his friends were starring at me hardly. 

I got into my car and made my way to the store to meet Meghan. I pulled in right next to Meghan and we got out and went into the store. We went into the "goody aisle" first. When we walked down it I saw Cameron and his friends at the end of it. Shit. I tried to hide myself even though hiding behind a grocery cart wasn't going to help anything.

"Hey Alleyah, can you grab the Doritos from up top? I can't reach them." Meghan asked.

"Yeah sure." I said and i went up to grab a bag and another hand went for them at the same time.

"Sorry." I said and then i realized it was Cameron. Fuck. I was now blushing.

"Oh hey Alleyah nice to see you again." He winked.

Why does he have to do the wink? It makes me want to melt into a puddle right here and now.

"You too." I smiled and started to walk the other way. 

I then felt a hand grab my arm. 

"Woah not so fast now, me and my boys have to ask you something." He said.

Oh god what does he want. "Yes?" I asked.

"Are you up for any fun?" He smirked.

"Um sure." I said confused.

"Meet me at my house, tonight at 8. 875 Homer Dr." He winked.

"Um okay." I choked out cause i couldn't believe what was happening.

I turned around and started to walk towards Meghan when a voice yelled, "Your ass looks good in those jeans!" I turned around and saw it was Matt that said that and Cameron looked back and smiled and shook his head.

Meghan crossed her arms and shook her head.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh you." She  said. "What did you talk to Cameron about?"

"Nothing." I said.

She just gave me a look and let out a breath i did not know she was holding.

"I know it was not nothing Alleyah, you guys were totally flirting over there." She stated.

"He just told me i looked nice today." I lied, even though i wish that was the truth. 

"Oh, well that's nice." She said even though i think she still knows i'm not telling the whole truth.

"Yeah." I fake smiled.

I cannot not let her get in the way of this. I am going to have fun tonight and no one can stop me.

A/N hey guys sorry this chapter is kinda short. Ill update one more chapter for this coming week. The rest of the week i'm super busy, so the next chapter i write before i leave ill make sure it's longer!
