"No, not at all. Actually." Garnet frowns at you. "Why?" She asks, tilting her head. Cutie. You brush off your thought and say "I don't know. Well, my grandad is ill, and I'm here." You say it with such force you feel Garnet flinch against you. She lays out her hand, and then sees you not doing anything, so she takes your hand. You blush a little. "Hey, it's alright. Sometimes it's OK to go." She smiles, and you let go of her hand, afraid of your emotions bubbling out. "Garnet?" You ask. "Yes?" She grins. "We're..." You try to form sentences, and say blurtily "Friends, right?" She laughs and nods. "Yeah. Why'd you ask that?" She suddenly removes her visors, and again you can't help but gasp, blushing a little. "You realise I can see the future, right?" That's Sapphire talking. "Yes. Yes, I know. And you're over thousands of years old and have been to space. I know all that." You say with a pinch of jealousy. "Hey. That's not the way to say it. It's not as cool as it sounds. Some of us get kidnapped, or got left behind. I know I don't even like being seperated sometimes. Ruby's the bubbler, I suppose." She stops talking, and a perky person (Sapphire) continues. "Haha. Ruby. Sapphire." She ends, and we smile. "But you're not just two people. You're also one: Garnet, right?" A white butterfly passes you. More pass again. "The flock today." But Garnet's already gotten up. "Come on. I should get home, and you don't seem in a rush: Are you?" You nod. "Nope. I'll be glad to come with." You shiver. "How is a Beach-like City cold?" You smile. You switch off your phone, the silent mode on.
You're in the Gems' house with a flower crown and a crystal necklace on. "Thanks, Steven." He smiles. "Hey. That's alright. It looks nice on you. You look sweet." He wiggles his eyebrows. "Shh!" You put a finger to your lips, and the bigger gem enters. "Hi, Garnet." You and Steven and Connie say in unison. "Alright, you two stay here. I'm gonna talk with y/n." (HHGFDHGFHDG)
You enter Garnet's room, filled with bubbles of gems. "Woah." You smile, gasping. "Yeah, woah." Garnet smiles. "You like it, then?" You nod. "So, why don't you stay over?" You stare blankly. "I mean, I would, but it's funnily hot in here." You blush (heat not crush). "Oh, OK."
"You look pretty when you smile." She points out, and you blush and smile even more. "Oh." SHe laughs. "Did I make you uncomfortable?" She laughs again. You smile and she takes you out of her room. You leave and lay in your apartement with the bird, pondering the day.
