You stare at the void of the room you are in, after being knocked out by the beams. Where's Garnet? And Steven? And why am I not in the apartment? You open your eyes, and suddenly they adapt. That's cool. You think. Then you try to communicate via the bond. (you in italic and Garnet in bold)
Garnet? Oh lord, you can hear me. Where the hell and what- I don't know. I'm in a dark room, and I seem to have developed some sort of visor, which enhances my vision. It's awesome. That's quite cool. But are you OK? Did they do anything to you? If they did, I swear... Well, they knocked me unconscious. That's nothing. Wow, you toughy. I still miss you. Amethyst was worried, and Steven too. He misses singing with you and Pearl, even if that makes me a little jealous. Peridot even wondered where you were. Aww. I have to go, I hear footsteps. I think they abducted me for some reason that I need to go to Homeworld. Wait, what?! Why on Homeworld? What gem are you? Mmh! Y/n! ...I can't say. This isn't something I can discuss. Wait- Garnet, I must go. No!
You block her out, and the sounds of footsteps sound again. "Runt!" Someone kicks you in the shoulder, and you see the light again. "W-who are you?" You ask, and the group of gems laugh. "Oh, Y/n." The group parts, and you see none other than your mate. "Brookite?" You stare at her, mouth agape. She kisses you abruptly. "Hello, sweetheart. How was the journey?" You pull back. "Sickening!" You cry out, and the Jasper, marked as 9958RB, gasps. "Why would you take me away from her? How would you even think of that?" The tears get the better of your emotions, and you shout, "Why didn't you just shatter me?" This time, Brookite has had enough. "I would've. I really would've. 6, 915 years ago. But I didn't. And now I want to, but I can't: Yellow Diamond has requested your presence." You stop. "No. NO NO NO No no." You try to pull out of their grasp. "Please. Brookite, please. Shatter me, now." She nods, and the Jaspers and her Pearl gasps. You recognize the Pearl. Her name is Yin. "Yin." You say, but Brookite pushes her back. "I will shatter you next." You feel your palm being jolted forwards. You prepare it, and the mind block shatters. "No." Yellow Diamond's face appears. "Brookite." She stands before you, as the ship dissolves. She poofs your former mate and her Pearl, as well as 9958RB, who looks terrified. The Amethyst stays in the ship carrier, afraid. You mutter 'stay'. She nods, and you feel Yellow pick you up. "Oh." She drops you next to her. "I am incredibly surprised of you, my dear Amber. (sorry, i decided you were best as her!)" You gulp. "My Diamond, I apologize-" Yellow stops you, and takes your hand, as small as her pinky. "Never trust those Crystal Gems. I won't allow you." You cry, as she says those words. "ESPECIALLY the fusion. You cannot talk to her. " And she orders you to be sent back. Oh gosh. And as you disappear back to Earth, you kiss the air, almost wanting a last kiss. Of the Garnet you love. Of her. You cry.
