Compton's Trillest: Chapter 2
~6 Years Later~
~Auburn P.O.V.~
"Mommy stop!" I laughed as Mommy was tickling me. I didn't like being tickled but it did make me laugh.
"Alright Auburn, I'm done." Mommy said as she walked to the kitchen. I was a little hungry so I went to the table and climbed up onto the chair.
"I'm hungry Mommy." I said.
"Want some grapes? I need to go to the store today so we can get some more snacks for you." I nodded my head and waited for my bowl of grapes.
"When does Daddy come home from the army?" I missed Daddy a lot. I miss when he would let me stay up late with him and I'd fall asleep on his chest.
"He comes home for visitation at the end of the week." Mommy brought me my grapes and I started to eat my grapes one by one.
"Yay, I haven't had anyone to play with besides you."
"Why don't you play with Arlie and Gabriel? They're right across the street." Mommy said.
"He's always in the other hood and I don't go over there." I wish he stayed over in our hood but his friends and the other kids were in the hood next to me.
"Why don't you go over there?"
"Because I'm scared to go over there. I don't know everyone."
"Sweetie you have to make new friends too." I don't want to.
"Can I have a lollipop Mommy?" I really wanted some sugar.
*Pause*
"Just like how I really want some of your sugar." Varo whispered into my ear and planted a soft kiss right on my neck.
"You get sugar all the time, leave me alone while I'm telling my story." I whispered back to him. I slipped my hand behind my back and grabbed a handful of his shorts.
"Sweet Cheeks for the love of fucks sake, let go." He said as he was clearly trying to hold back a groan. This was funny on my end.
"I'm good. I'ma just hold it-"
"Sweets I ain't even playing. That ain't fair." He said laughing. My parents were confused at what was going on and let that be a good thing. "Sweets stop moving your hand."
"Problem?-"
"Yes. Big problem." I let him go and heard a sigh of relief come from him. I know my Varo too well so I know what to do and what buttons to press just to get the right reactions.
"You two alright?" Mommy asked.
"We're good. Too good." Varo said with another laugh.
*Continuing*
"Yes sweetie, here." She brought down the lollipop jar and let me choose one. "You always choose the red ones and sometimes pink. You're too funny Auburn."
"I know Mommy. I want a tattoo, like Sage." I knew Sage because he walked me home from the park 2 months ago and he comes by to see Mommy and Me but not lately.
"What? Why? And what kind?" Mommy asked with a laugh.
"I want like what Sage has." I laughed with her.
"You want sleeves and your neck?" I nodded my head. "Alright I have an idea." I watched her grab her keys and motioned for me to follow her.
I hopped off the chair and ran down to my room to put on my sandals. My curls were everywhere! But I loved them too much to want to put them up.
