"Swim!" Keith yelled as he started to swim away, not knowing where he was going but determined to get away. His pulse was quickening more and more and his tail was glowing as his fear increased. Lance grabbed Pidge's wrist harshly and followed Keith blindly, fear now making his heart race too.
"I know a cave nearby" Lance panicked, taking the lead.
"Okay!" Keith followed Lance, heart pounding. Shiro was gaining up on them, growling and holding some sort of weapon "Hurry!" Keith yelled, he could feel his breath escalate.
"What is he planning on doing??" Pidge chanted. Lance made a sharp turn and swam into the deep cave, terrified. They shouldn't have been out after hours,
"I don't know but it's clearly not good! Damn it, is this karma?!" Lance sputtered, half jokingly, still scared "wait, where's Keith?"
"I don't know" Pidge panicked.
Keith had been behind them up until Lance made the turn, then he'd hesitated. He moved and felt his tail get heavy. Shiro had grabbed hold of him and pulled him.
"Let me go!" Keith demanded
"No!" Shiro spat "they'll pretend to be your friend and kill you or worse yet, leave you to rot! Do you want that?!" He yelled, making Keith flinch
"Shiro let me go!" He said, desperately trying to break free.
"Wait lance, can you hear that?" Pidge pointed out. Lance heard the commotion, then waited for a second before peeking out. He felt bad for Keith, Lance's hands were shaky as he slowly and quietly swam closer.
